Hey guys, I've recently started uploading some walkthroughs and soon will be taking requests if you would like to see your level played. If you guys are stuck on one of my levels or just interested in seeing how my levels look
@AdamLikesNintend hey I remember you said you were making a shooter level. I did too but it's more of a boss fight. Check out my Colosseum 4.1 video it really is bullet storm
@BurningSonic I think Nintendo should give players a choice when they upload a level, whether they want their level to be judged on "Fastest Time" (as all of them are now) or on "Coins Collected" like your 99 Coins level should be. That would foster exploration for some levels instead of just speedrunning them all.
And thanks to @j-BL00D who indirectly showed me how to put a comment in-stage in one of his videos, I now put Miiverse comments in my course (https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/DCA3-0000-0175-B986) to even make things easier. Not all of them provide hints, but they should provide enough information to help you progress.
EDIT: Oh, and you can always turn off the comments, if you want.
Since I like tough levels I picked Bwser's Deadly Castle. I really enjoyed it. Wasn't too hard, but dies about 4 or 5 times. Here's your video. Pardon the horrible video editing, this is new to me https://youtu.be/_q-X1L1yppQ

@BurningSonic: Enjoyed your 99 coins course. I only got 65 coins, so I'll be going back to get more later. How do you get the coins below the jumping piranha plants near the beginning of the course, though? I'm guessing you have to spin jump onto the circular saws... but I wasn't able to do it properly (that's if it's even possible to spin jump on the saws).
Maybe it's just me, but the quest for the coins quickly became fear for what the heck was coming next. Now that I've played the whole course, I'll know what's coming, but I just thought it was a bit off that it quickly turned from coin hide-and-seek to "I'm coming for you!" (I can't find the right way to put it, but think of it in that sense...)
But hey, I actually think it's an awesome stage with a cool idea.
You like tough levels, eh? insert devilish grin here
Well, why don't you play my Escort the Flying Block! course: https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/91D2-000... for starters? I don't think it's hard, but I'd like to see how the new player plays it. Maybe clear it.

I'll give it a shot. But I don't enjoy trolling. So no doors/pipes to instadeath, no invisible blocks above jumps or needed to clear levels. Because those are just stupid

@Vee_Flames:
Yeah I wanted the coins to be like the star coins, where some you can see during the normal playthrough. While others you had to go search for.
The ones at the beginning you have to climb the vines while avoiding the saws. You may have to jump for some of them.
@Vee_Flames: Dude! That level was not easy! It wasn't crazy hard and I think it definitely could have used another checkpoint. But overall a very cool idea and great challenge. It took me about 10-15 tries. A level will always be easier to the builder unless it's a ridiculously good player. Like my The Chase: P-Switch Panic is fairly easy to me. I can clear it 4/5 times but the current clear rate (6/2485) tells me otherwise LOL. Give it a shot

Since you gave a bookmark I saved it and played a little this morning. I was limited on time and didn't beat it but I will when I get a chance, it was a fun level. I probably won't be home for a week but when I do have a chance I should have what I need for my capture card so I can record it
@j-BL00D: Haha, glad you cleared it! Once you know how to deal with the difficult situations, it shouldn't be that hard. But anyway, I watched the video (thanks very much for making the video), and I had to make some tweaks here and there, so here is the latest version of the course:
Now since I've uploaded a total of 10 courses, I can't upload anymore unless I get more stars. Since I plan to make another stage soon, I'll have to delete the original versions of some of the courses I've made: Escort the Flying Block! and Escape the Shipwreck! So @99mushrooms, I'm not sure the particular course you bookmarked will be available by the time you get back home. You might want to bookmark the latest version of the course (bookmark link below).
As for the new version, the major change is the inclusion of the reset doors, which I feel should've been there in the first place. There are some minor changes here and there, including making it easy to get the Fire Flower at the middle of the stage. Hope you enjoy it!

Cool, that looks like fun. I plan on playing it myself later. Boss battles are surprisingly difficult to get right, especially with Bowser because he goes all over the place and you can almost always skip past him. Why the one-way blocks by the axe though? Is there some way to move the red bullet bills that I don't know about? You should check out my latest and let me know what you think: https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/B79D-000...

I say leave them up for a bit if you want to. You might get to 50 stars faster than you think. Although Nintendo will eventually delete any courses that don't pull in enough stars after a set amount of time anyway. All I look for when starring a course is that the creator put some obvious thought and care into making it refined and enjoyable and you clearly do. I can't remember if I starred the one course but I meant to. I will check out all of your courses later and star any that I think you put a lot into (probably all of them).
And thanks to @j-BL00D who indirectly showed me how to put a comment in-stage in one of his videos, I now put Miiverse comments in my course (https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/courses/DCA3-0000-0175-B986) to even make things easier.
I did that with some of my courses too and it definitely helped. I believe most people always leave comments turned off though so only some will actually see them.

This was the premise of my Colosseum series I always played levels and always skipped bowser. I was like "what if you were locked in a room with bowser" "what if you NEED to beat him to clear" then the light came one. COLOSSEUM
