Kirby is just around the same shape and size as Boo, and the flying/jumping would fit very closely to the style of Boo's movement. Kirby could have a Boo skin added as well as Boo sounds, and besides that all Kirby's attacks and moves would happen the same way. the only two things I believe would need to be changed is that Boo would Shoot air out of his mouth like a knockback breeze opposite of Kirby's suck in ability. Kirby's kicks when used as Boo would simply look like small moving poofs of steam in the shape of kicks, allowing Boo to function as a character.

It's one thing to want King Boo in Smash. That's not a terrible idea. But it's an ENTIRELY different thing to say that he'll work as an alternate skin for Kirby! That's just down right asinine.

^^This^^ If you want Boo, that's fine. I think we all have that one character we wanted in that is just ridiculous, and it's at least better than Shrek or Goku. But being an alt for Kirby...that just...what the hell makes you think that's possible!?

I'm trying to compromise with the posters who say "adding another character to super smash bros is too much work!" by offering the idea that I think is the easiest way possible to add boo. I want boo in smash either new, or as a reskinned kirby. simply put I want boo in the game as a playable character.
I don't know why this keeps coming back up, but I'll throw this in for some actual discussion, I guess.

If a new character was to be added, why not add a character representing a different series? I've said it before, Bayonetta would be quite a cool addition to the roster if there was going to be one, though I highly doubt she'd make it in.

Its called an opinion, and it matters because many people share my same opinion. if Nintendo decides to add king boo to super smash bros I would be delighted, and you don't need to have a sad day, nobody is forcing you to play AS king boo.
