Like they said on Treehouse Live: this game is either a completion's dream, or a completion's nightmare.

So playable Cia, Wizzro and Volga came as a free update after all, just as it was in Japan. Do you guys know if the unlockable costumes from the DLC contain the Link and Zelda costumes (from Oot, Twilight princess and Skyward sword)? I am just curious.
There seems to be a significant number of unlockable costumes in the new Adventure mode map, I have a feeling some of these could be the preorder DLC ones (Link and Zelda for OoT, TP and SS).
Nope, they are a hilda custome, and pallete swaps for link, impa, darunia and such
Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am

But there seems to be more than 1 unlockable link costume.
Anybody else playing co-op? My kids got stuck on the last level of Legend where SPOILER - you had to meet up w/ Impa, but 1 of them was glitched in a wall in a keep and the other was literally pushing into Impa but nothing would happen. They said there was also another level where player 2 got glicthed in a wall and the game wouldn't let them proceed so they had to restart the level. I haven't seen any of this as they play while I'm cooking dinner. I told them the 2nd player should just drop out but they said you can't do that in this game, only completely quit the scenario.

My wife and I have actually played all of Legend on Co-op and didn't see any of this actually. The visuals weren't as great as expected but it really went quite well besides that aspect.

EDIT - OK, caught my breath and the solution I've come up with is to just have my sons save point on the external HDD and mine and my other sons on the internal. Only now I need to have the HDD on when my son plays and off when I play otherwise it makes a new save point in the wrong place. And I need to DL the updates and DLC to both. And then I can't back up any of them without over-writing each other. So screw it, trash my old save point and start from scratch only on the internal after moving over my sons lone good save point. $#@$%## back-up save files shouldn't be so complicated.
OK, so here's my problem. I have my save file and my youngest son's on the internal memory and my oldest sons on the external HDD, and I can't for the love of all that is holy in the universe move either the 1 from the external to the internal or the 2 from the internal to the external without the 2 over-wrting the 1 or the 1 overwriting the 2. I can NOT get all 3 into 1 place either by copying or moving. I have deleted both the small 62kb content file adn the 320MB download file. I have already lost 2 weeks worth of gameplay in my own save file, I don't won't to lose any more. I went thru all the trouble of getting my external HDD up and running in part to have a back up of save files and now I've lost 1 and can't get the other 3 all in the same place. And I have an external thumbdrive that has 2 of the save points on it from 2 weeks ago but not the 3rd save from my oldest son from yesterday. My kids will be home from school in 30 minutes and want to play and I really really don't know what to do. I'm going to call Nintnedo but I'm not optimistic. Man, I had finsihed Legend and was half thru Adventure. aaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh
If they each have their own profile it wouldn't be a problem, the game should be able to read what profile is being used and then which save data to use.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Thanks for the feedback, I think we simultaneously posted. You can see my edit atop my previous post. I came to that conclusion but as I posted in my edit it isn't ideal when I have to make sure I turn on the HDD when my 1 son plays HW but make sure it's turned off when my other son and I play HW. The problem is when the HDD is on it makes a NEW save point on there even though I have 1 internally. And when the HDD is off it makes a new 1 for my son b/c his old 1 is on the external HDD (I just tested it). AND every future update and DLC then has to post to both. And I can't back up either to save to the thumb drive w/o overwriting 1 or the other, and I'm not about to start using 2 thumbdrives. So yeah, there are work arounds, but there shouldn't need to be, when I move save files they should't delete other peoples saves files from different accounts, there's just no reason for that at all, that's why we have different accounts and save points.
So I'm just deleting mine, and my other sons who is't far along, and moving everything to the internal and shutting of the external to make sure it all works. ugh

@rjejr yah I get annoyed too when games don't have multiple saves. I can see why HW did this, but its a shame they didn't have that option. I picked up a 32gb low profile flash drive for the Wii U to expand what I could use "at once" since I was almost full on the 32GB. Right now, it's just a backup. Good to know how it "works" as a expanded drive now.
@pahvi after seeing what is on the master quest map, I personally still consider the core game complete. however, that begs the question of how "good" one could make the 3 free characters without the DLC map. No hearts, no weapon upgrades... that's a tough road to lvl 99. My gut feeling is they wanted to add those 3 to the core game, and ran out of time. Certainly don't hold it against them, this game as was pointed out before is a completionists "dream".
I also wonder if they could do online co-op if they just ditched gamepad support during online co-op. The amount of lag I get doing local co-op on some of the crazier maps is actually noticeable and borderline unacceptable. I hope it wasn't just gamepad support that nixed online co-op. Perhaps that'll be a mode later on (one can dream)... I'll mass-friend a bunch of ppl in this thread, so help is on the way Also, Guarding is a thing? I seriously have never used guarding. Why guard when you can dodge!
@rjejr yah I get annoyed too when games don't have multiple saves. I can see why HW did this, but its a shame they didn't have that option.
It's not HW fault, it's more mine and Nitnedos. My wife, sons and I all have our own accounts so I'm fine w/ that. Hated it at first on the PS3 but after a few years got used to it so I was ready for it on Wii U. My problem was my HDD enclosure died so I had to replace it. So while I waited for the mail to come I played my save on the internal memory. When the drive came my son played his save on the external. So I deleted his save on the internal but left mine and deleted mine and all the DLC data on the external so I could copy his save to the internal b/c Nintendo won't let us "copy" just a save, it has to be the folder, but we are allowed to delete any part within the folder, which makes no sense. And when I did copy his save the other saves, DLC and patch data on the internal were gone so only his save remained on both the internal and external. There is no logical reason for 1 save file from 1 account to wipe out 2 other saves and all the DLC, but it did.
Now I did have save data back up on a thumbdrive from 2 weeks ago, so I put that on the internal - which overwrote my sons new save - but left his on the external. So new plan, he plays on his save on external I play on mine internal. Only my account made a new save on the external completely ignoring the internal save. So newer new plan, turn off external HDD when I play, turn it on when my son plays. Only I tried that 3 times and when I get out of the game the Wii U menu squares are blank white - probably b/c so many of the squares are demos on the external drive - and then the system freezes. 3x yesterday I had to hard reset, and I really don't like doing that.
So I think I'm erasing everything except my 1 sons 1 good save and starting everything else from scratch on the internal but I'll keep the external turned on to keep from freezing the Wii U until that too goes on fire like the old enclosure and to hell w/ back-up save files, they're more trouble than their worth. Wii U is a headache inducing machine.

@pahvi Also, Guarding is a thing? I seriously have never used guarding. Why guard when you can dodge!
I know right, worst thing is that I can't find which button it is. I tried all off them and the only thing I seem able to do is dodging, no gaurding. Maybe it's my control scheme? I've been using the Zelda controls

You guard with ZL. Insanely helpful against Manhandla.

I never really used the guard button much before starting Adventure Mode (where keeping damage low is important). Dodge always seemed like the more reliable option!
