Topic: Hyrule Warriors (& Legends) - OT

Hey guys, I have two questions. First, I've only beaten Ocarina of time, so do you think I will enjoy this game? I'm a nintendo geek though, so I know who the non ocarina characters are kind of through word of mouth. Second, is this a good co-op game for non hardcore gamers? My girlfriend can play Smash, Kirby, and Mario 3 D world, so do you think she could play this? I think the gameplay looks tons of fun, and the zelda skin helps, but I want to know if I should drop 60 bucks on it.

I think so, as long as you keep it on a low difficulty. I know my Wife is excited to play this with me.

Heard the CoOP is supposed to be really unstable. That's a bummer.

I think I will wait a bit with this game. I'll just get SSB for 3DS & Bayonetta 2 instead and buy this when it is cheap.

So according to TGS, the new villains in this game are going to be playable. Also seems to be some DLC coming too. Not much else is known, though...but...yeah.

So it seems like we are getting 3 new playable characters via an update at some point, those being Cia, Volga and Wizzro. And KT will be doing 4 DLC packs adding new playable characters, new weapon types, new adventure mode maps and new costumes. Waiting to see the UK/US pricing before I get too excited

Hyrule Warriors roster wasn't big to begin with compared to previous Warfriors games so you would think that kind of DLC would be free or cheap.

Both resolution and framerate take a good hit so I'll be avoiding the mode myself.

On of those DLC packs is supposed to be a Majoras Mask themed pack. Maybe we will get to play Skull Kid after all!

I'll be waiting see if I want any dlc at all -I like the concept, but not 20 euro's for a new look that doesn't add gameplay experience. Mario kart did dlc right, I've got a feeling this might do dlc all kinds of wrong...

You're paying for several new game modes, characters and stages all at once like you did with Mario Kart. The Dark Link costume is just a free bonus.

Ah I just read the summary of what's included. I meant costumes don't do much to me, as opposed to new game modes which got me pretty excited.

If the content is worth it I'll pick it up, but first I'll have to see how much I sink my teeth in this game - it could end up being so much fun to play that I'll get to playing it a lot which would make it a no-brainer of course... but then again, if what you get would just be costumes then I'd pass.

What is an adventure map in this game? Is it something huge? Another area with a mission? I'll find out from tomorrow onwards I guess

Someone might have already noted, but NoE has already tweeted about these packs. First Free DLC arrives on 16.10.2014, and it will feature Cia, Valga and Wizzro among other things, maybe?

The rest weren't dated, but you can preorder them, and get Dark Link skin as a bonus. Oh, the first paid DLC-pack arrives also on 16.10. I haven't decided yet, if I get them. Normally I'm really not that fond of character packs, but if the price is right, I might fall for it.

yeah but can you preorder them now already, or just after the update? Because I'm curious about the price in euro's to be honest.
