So, have the demos come to Gamestop stores in the US yet? I really want to try this game out before I buy it. I've never played a DW game before.
Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)

Someone might have already noted, but NoE has already tweeted about these packs. First Free DLC arrives on 16.10.2014, and it will feature Cia, Valga and Wizzro among other things, maybe?
The rest weren't dated, but you can preorder them, and get Dark Link skin as a bonus. Oh, the first paid DLC-pack arrives also on 16.10. I haven't decided yet, if I get them. Normally I'm really not that fond of character packs, but if the price is right, I might fall for it.
I didn't come to that conclusion from the info. I thought the free update on September 30th contained Cia, Valga and Wizzro and then the DLC starts on 16.10 with the Hyrule Warriors Master Quest pack and DLC continuing monthly excluding December.
To get all the packs its £13.49 on the eshop that is such good value, very impressed with Nintendo 's current approach to dlc. Was not sure if I was going to buy it but now I'll probably get it now

You're correct. The September 30 patch includes the villains as playable characters while the October DLC has new stages.

Cool, glad I know the price now as I was going to get 2 £15 eshop cards (assuming £20 for the DLC) but now I'll just get a £25 eshop card. It is quite sad though that companies such as EA and Activision has overpriced DLC so much and often that we assume a really high DLC price.
Will probaly get the DLC, even tought it costs quite a lot. But I hope they Include Groose and Tingle as playable characters, and maybe that Baby who leads the gang of Links friends in the begining of Twilight Princess (and later starts a shop)

Are you sure that you get all the DLC for that price? The eshop says 14,99€ for the Master Quest one, so only one of them is included in that price.

That's because the full title is cut off for space until you select it for more details, the full name is:
"Hero of Hyrule Pack (Bundle: Master Quest Pack, Twilight Princess Pack, Majora's Mask Pack, Boss Pack and Dark Link costume)"
