I forgot about Mega Man X4 and X5! D: I forgot about Gradius Gaiden and Crash 3, now that I think about it. I wonder if there's another really good one I played that I forgot?
1. Brigandine for me of course. Where my original name came from. To me my favorite game of all time. 2. FF VII. Sorry to jump on the bandwagon here but I truly do love this game. Plus I love naming Barret Mr. T. 3. Azure Dreams. Fun Dungeon Crawler. 4. Wild Arms. Love this game and every time I think of this game I hear the opening intro. 5. Wald Arms 2. 6. Twisted Metal 2. In my opinion the best Twisted Metal game of all time. 7. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. 8. Kagero: Deception 2. Love setting traps and killing innocent villagers. 9. Xenogears 10. Resident Evil 2
I only played Twisted Metal on the PS2 and PSP. I never really liked them, but I take it they aren't as good as Twisted Metal 2, anyways. Of course, I prefer actually racing over trying to kill cars, unless killing cars makes it easier for me to get to first place.
10. Crash Team Racing (underrated rival to Mario Kart) 9. Medal of Honor (the original is always the best) 8. Disruptor ( most underrated/ overlooked game in history) 7. Rival Schools 6. Tekken 3 (fighting at it's finest) 5. Final Fantasy VIII 4. Twisted Metal 2 (multiplayer perfection, nothing is more fun with friends) 3. Crash Bandicoot 2 2. Final Fantasy VII 1. Metal Gear Solid (cinematic presentation changed gaming forever)
Honorable mentions: Gex: Enter the Gecko Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee Vagrant Story
Send me the best you've got. Send me your strongest machines. The fight my brother fought, here, now, will end with me.
I always wanted to play Disruptor when I found out it was one of Insomniac's oldest works. I'm surprised it hasn't appeared on PSN yet. How are the controls? That's usually the biggest problem with those old school FPSes. If it can overcome that it'd be an easy sell.
Also good to see some Rival Schools and Tekken 3 love. I only played the arcade versions of those games, but they were great games all the same.
1. Brave Fencer Musashi 2. Final Fantasy IX 3. Mega Man Legends 4. Suikoden II 5. Crash Bandicoot Warped 6. Rival Schools 7. Mega Man X4 8. Strider 2 9. Twisted Metal 2 10. Crash Team Racing
aw dude I forgot about Rival Schools. Project Justice on the Dreamcast was the bees knees. Took everything about Rival Schools and multiplied it by awesome.
1. Metal Gear Solid 2. Metal Gear Solid 3. Metal Gear Solid 4. Metal Gear Solid 5. Metal Gear Solid 6. Metal Gear Solid 7. Metal Gear Solid 8. Metal Gear Solid 9. Resident Evil 2 10. Metal Gear Solid

Disruptor was good. I remember I was flipping through a Gamepro back in the day and read the review when it first came out, and had like $40 to blow...I chose it and it was a great game. I know it didn't support the dual analog because that was before it existed lol.
Oh man Rival Schools and Tekken kicked . I spent so many countless nights on those.
I can't understand how so many people think Castlevania SOTN is a great game. I played it with high expectations and was totally let down. The boss fights are rubbish and you are constantly picking up useless junk. The game is averge at best and the most overated game I 've played along with Paper Mario Wii and Mystical Ninja N64.
Rayman 2 : The Great Escape, Spyro : Gateway to Glimmer, Crash Bandicoot 2 : Wrath of Cortex, Theme Park World (Even the features have new features!!), FF VI, Tomb Raider II That's pretty much all I had, apart from Colin Mcrae and I think Harry Potter 1. Still love most of them, and Rayman 2 is absolutely phenomenal. Probably the first game I completed

Well, it's a Metroid-like Action-RPG. You're supposed to be picking up random junk, so you can actually use it in emergencies, like when you're fighting one of those boss fights, or when you're almost dead and too far from a save point. Also, the game's very focused on exploration and puzzle-solving, most of which it handles very well. It also has an absurd amount of charm, aesthetic and musical taste, and attention to detail above and beyond what you'll find in an "average" game.
In other words: There's a lot to like, unless you just don't like the genre, which I'm guessing you don't. In which case, it would be easier if you just understood that than to bash a game for being what it is.

Good to see another fan of Rayman 2. One of the best platformers on the system, IMO.
I haven't played too many PSX games, but here goes 1. Threads of Fate 2. Final Fantasy IX 3. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage 4. Arc the Lad Collection 5. Digimon World 6. Tales of Destiny 7. Tales of Eternia 8. Spyro: Year of the Dragon 9. Spyro 1 10. Breath of Fire 3

I like your tastes, man. Even if you haven't played much more than that, those ones are pretty damn good.

Holy crap, I almost forgot about that game. To be honest, the controls are a little rough but nothing too serious, considering its age.

Excellent! I've been trying to get that game on anything else, it turns out the best way is to dust off the old girl and give it a go as nature intended! You ever play any of the others?

No, I only played the PSX version. Most people say that's the worst version, and that it lacks something from the DC and N64 versions.

Okay, cool. I might pick it up if I can find it cheap. I'm still hoping for a PSN version, though.
