@ogo79@Tasuki@KingMike A friend of mine is shipping me a mint copy of Lunar: Silver Star Story: Limited Edition for the PSOne, complete with the limited edition strategy guide and cloth map of the game's world!

Bought 25 new box protectors for my N64 games.
Still need about another 50 or so.
Man this collecting is expensive.
Oh well, at least I can now have 25 more games on display ready to go.
I think it's ogo79 who would disapprove of my latest purchase.
Filling in some holes in the N64 3D platformer collection.
Chameleon Twist 1 and 2, Starshot and Robot: Rocket on Wheels.
Was Robot always a $20 game or did that spike after someone at AGDQ played it?
Actually don't know if I should've bought two copies of Chameleon Twist. Should I bother playing it in English before the supposedly superior Japanese version?
At least out of all of those, only CT2 pulls the needing a memory card to save crap.
(looks like there's more N64 third-party games than I thought that were kind enough to give on-cart saves.)
I suppose at worst, since I don't want to solder a battery in my official memory card, get my crappy third-party one and electrical tape the battery to keep it in the sucker?
(all loose though, since N64 price spikes. Looks like the CT2 manual is probably worth more than the game. )
I think it's ogo79 who would disapprove of my latest purchase.

I recently bought Wario Land 2&3. Never played them even though I loved SML3 back in the day. A fantastic series that doesn't seem to get any attention anymore.
I'd love it if on Switch we got a follow up to Shake It, but with standard controls. Although I don't think a woolly version would work on that particular series if that's the type of game that team are now into making (with splendid results).
@The_Pocket_Gamer
yeah its not hard to obtain.
check the prices on ebay.
a new copy is like 13 dollars lol.
better hurry before someone sees this and jacks up the price

@The_Pocket_Gamer
yup.
thats how this works.
all it takes is a couple people to buy the same game then prices change.
people make a living watching that.
in fact, im the main one responsible for the price spiking of castlevania dracula x...
i payed 150 for the original and after that it became the base price...
its a catch 22.
if you have the money it hinders others that arent willing to pay that kind of price.
you can become the number 1 enemy of the internet without having intentions of doing so, just because you enjoy the fruits of yer labor, lol.
i always try to let people know of price spikes before they happen.
i exercised my observations with kickmaster for nes and no one listened.
now they cry.

You heard of the guy that spiked the price of Rampart for the original Game Boy (not the GBC version, which is a different port)?
He bought like 20 copies over the course of half a year or something to see if he could impact the price of a game alone, and it caused the game to go from like $3 to $20, with ebay's "trending" price ending up around $25.
He asked Pat (I think) if relisting the games at the price he paid for them would make it go back down, and Pat estimated probably not.
(and this guy was just experimenting. The Titus SNES games are an example of what a few people can do when they are deliberately trying to inflate prices to move their nearly-valueless games. They were like $5 because they were mediocre games nobody had heard of.
@KingMike
i sure did hear about his experiment.
i heard all about it lol.
