So me and brother went looking for old games this weekend and scored two goodies. We went to our huge flea market here in Alabama and found guys with shops and started asking them if they had old games and they were in little boxes or under stuff, needless to say it was a lot of fun but scored two good one.
Wario Land 2 Gameboy (5 bucks)
Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX (10 bucks)

I was really hoping to find Shantae but didn't maybe one day lol.

Nice....I saw both of those as well. We found a TON of old retro games for Genesis, PSX, SNES but most of them I already had. I went looking specifically for GB, GBA games. It was fun though.

One local used store is a gold mine-I've purchased Metroid, Castlevania !,2, and 3, Ninja Gaiden 1,2, and 3, the Star Tropics series, Tecmo Super Bowl (for 10 bucks), SMB 1,2, and 3, and Duck Tales. Most of those were 3-5 bucks.

That's just from a nintendo standpoint. For other systems, I' have found the Sonic Genesis series, Vectorman 1 and 2, about every Madden made for the Genesis, NHL 94', Samurai Showdown just to name a few. Those were even cheaper than the NES games.

For PS, I have recently purchased Final Fantasy Tactics and the first Tony Hawk Skateboarding (passed on 2 because the first had a better soundtrack).

@ J Bitties..... Tony Hawk 2 is the best of the series so definately pick it up if you see it. BUT that is awesome that you have that. Here everything has shut down that sold vintage games. We had a local game store that was independently ownded and it went out of buisness. ( I loaded up on N64 and Genesis titles when they did) Sadly, I wasnt into handheld gaming then or I would definately have Shantae already (bought it online last night). I recommend loading up when you have the cash its getting really hard to find vintage games nowadays.
