Hi does anyone rember the super Nintendo multi link cable I rember seeing 2 super Nintendos linked up multi out to multi out and you have each rf plugged into different tellys and with 2 Copys of the game you can have you own screen to play on.I don't think all games where supported but I'm shore Mario kart was.back at the time I fort that was the only purpose for the multi out port .im unable to find any information about it on the internet.I emailed Nintendo to ask about this item but and they replayed by sayin as it's a very old console and no one that worked there was working there at that time except one person said that they rember it and it was only realeased in Japan and that they had no information about it.they then suggested I emailed Nintendo Japan .iv tryed that and couldn't figure out how to email. Can some one els please take the baton from me and continue the search.Im shore it would be possible for some one to make one of these wires up but I'm shore it wouldn't be as easy as linking to multi link to av cables together.
If you are asking about a cable to play Super Mario Kart multiplayer on different TVs, then I'm sure it would be a fan-made cable (only compatible with a hacked version of the game, and as such cannot be further discussed).
Otherwise the only way to play Super Mario Kart with separate screens was through a long deceased third-party online network called Xband.
By link cable, are you SURE you're not thinking of another console like the PS1? (I know one Genesis game supported such a cable but the game was canceled so the cable was never officially released.) I've heard that had a system link cable that was only compatible with early consoles I think and wasn't supported very much.
