Is anyone familiar enough with the NES games to know which of the MIni Console games will have co-op/versus multiplayer? It seems like Mario Bros, Super C(contra), Double Dragon II? Ice Climbers?

@KingMike it also has quite a few design flaws. The poison swap area full of zombies right out side of the third cave is still one of my most unpleasant nes memories. And to think people complain about ocarina's water temple. ūüė¨

@CDavis7M pac man, dr Mario, balloon fight, Tecmo bowl, and balloon fight also have co-op. It may have a few more. This is off the top of my head.

Bubble Bobble also has multiplayer, and SMB3 had a little minigame.

Super C also has multiplayer; how did I forget THAT?

Personally, I'd have liked if they did a Mini NES 2, I always liked its styling! Also, all this talk of the NES Classic Edition, I wonder, will Japan get a Famicom Classic Edition? I'll be interested in seeing what that would look like... Or is this gonna be one of the rare instances where we actually get something great and they don't?!

@Pahvi Well, if I were them, I'd make the controllers detachable in the same way as the NES ones, with ports on the front...

Yeah but if they want to keep it true to the original Famicom, they will have them built in.

Since the controllers are going to be rebranded Wii/Wii U Classic Controllers, if they did anything they'd make them attach to the back.

Weird how they get save states when we don't... and STILL no clear shot of the cord length (although I heard the original system's cords were also quite short... but that's not really an excuse).

I wish we could also get FF3. First truly great FF game, in my opinion.

EDIT: Apparently we ARE getting save states. Nevermind that then.

I want one but refuse to pay overpriced ebay scalpers for a mini Famicom.

With the mini Famicom, I wonder if the controllers are connected through ports on the back or bottom? Since the NES controllers were announced as Wii/U CC compatible, I can't imagine they'd change that for Japan.

Since the full list hasn't been posted: Adventure of Link, Atlantis no Nazo, Balloon Fight, Castlevania, Donkey Kong, Double Dragon II, Downtown Nekketsu Soreyuke Dai Undokai, Dr. Mario, Excite-Bike, Final Fantasy III, Galaga, Ghosts 'n Goblins, Gradius, Ice Climber, Kirby's Adventure, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Mega Man 2, Metroid, NES Open Tournament Golf, Ninja Gaiden, Pac-Man, River City Ransom, Solomon's Key, Super Mario Bros., Super C, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Tsuppari Oosumo, Yie Ar Kung Fu.

So, exclusives for Japan:
Atlantis no Nazo, Downtown Nekketsu Soreyuke Dai Undokai, Final Fantasy III, NES Open Tournament Golf, River City Ransom, Solomon's Key, Tsuppari Oosumo, Yie Ar Kung Fu.
Exclusive for the west:
Bubble Bobble, Castlevania II, Donkey Kong Jr., Final Fantasy, Kid Icarus, Punch-Out, StarTropics, Tecmo Bowl
