@Octane Blood and Wine is the best part of that game. Don't call it quits until you've played that DLC, puts most other so-called 'expansions' to shame.
@Shinion I know, I know. I've heard great things about B&W, and I'm looking forward to it. I just wanted to do the DLC parts in order, and since HoS came out first, I'll play that one first. But don't worry, B&W is next after that.
I'm still making my way towards the centre of the disappointment...
I'm glad that at least someone is able to enjoy the game though...
In other news, RIME is revived from the dead and it sort-a looks okay. I was expecting a bit more after more than a year of radio silence, looks like the game's visuals took a beating to be honest. Anyway, at least it's still in development and it's coming out relatively soon, so that's good news!

You're damn right it did...
Yet, at the same time, it looks like a real game now, instead of an artsy concept video. Now I'm looking forward to it even more. Chances are good it'll be #6, though I'm not buying it day-1.
I'm just glad I didn't get all super-invested into the hype, as I can just happily enjoy the game for what it is. A fairly soothing journey to and fro planets in which each one I land upon is unique and distinctive from the one I had roamed around before. I find it remarkably relaxing at the best of times too.
It feels more and more like Journey in space with light resourcing elements in-between.
Anyways, it is good to see RIME again, even if it doesn't look quite as intriguing when it was first shown back in 2013 (!) I remember buying this issue of EDGE over three years ago:
No, the destination's still pretty important. Otherwise, it's just a meandering walk in a circle. If anything, the destination is what ties the entire journey together.
You can change whether Nilfgaard win the war or not. I think it depends on whether you kill Radovid and/or Dijkstra or not. Either of them can win instead.
@Dezzy None of them seem competent leaders, so I guess it's not a real loss in the end, maybe Dijkstra would've been the better choice, but I guess that meant sagging Roche during A State of Reason. I was glad to see that the world returned to the state before the final battle, so it doesn't have huge impact in the end anyway.
Oh right so you're actually playing things as if it's real, eh?
So choosing Triss because she's a bit wilder and has red hair might not have been a good foundation for a lifetime relationship?
You don't have to be a prick about it, dude. Not everyone just wants to get the highest "score" - sounds like he just wanted to figure out what would've been the most beneficial choice for the situation with the context given, and why shouldn't he? The writers clearly put in the effort as far as world-building went.
At the end of the day, a man has to have pride in the choices he's made. I don't see why that can't apply to gaming, too.
Hi everyone, first time for me posting in this thread.
I'm not even sure that's the right place to answer my question, so I'll be glad to move my question to another thread should the Mods think there's a more fitting place.
However, let's not digress any more; the thing is I wanna buy Rogue Legacy, but I only own a PS3 (I live in Italy, don't know if it helps) and I can't find the game on the system's Store.
So my questions are:
1) has anyone else had the same issue?
2) if so, how'd you solve it?
3) would it be a good idea to buy the game for PS4 (though I don't own it, mind you) from the mobile/PC store and then download it to my PS3?
Thought it was. No idea what you folks reacted to.
It was sarcastic, but I took it personally, because I had a similar conversation yesterday with particularly stubborn individual on another forum. Plus, I do get tired of sarcastic comments every once in a while. My default is to take it as an insult, because I can't think of any other reason to use sarcasm. I know some people use it as a joke, but I always look at the uinderlying reasons as to why someone would treat is as a "joke-worthy topic"...
@clvr Rogue Legacy should be on the PS3. I haven't heard about them taking down that version. Are you sure it was released in your country for the PS3?
EDIT: What scant info I could find alludes to Sony screwing up and failing to properly list the PS3 version in the Playstation Store, but you could try looking it up on the Playstation Store Website. You'll have to google your own, since the links vary depending on your country of origin...
