So far I enjoyed playing Cat Quest 3 as it looks completely different than the first and second games.
Everything was pirate themed, more HP number, multiple accessories equipment, better animation, able to swim across the sea with cute buoy, but one complaint from me was the text size.
It was still very small, even from my TV screen 32 inch. I wish there was an option to enlarge the text size.
@FishyS Maybe, but I doubt it. If Sony had any interest in keeping the game around I feel like they would've just made it free to play like with Square Enix and Foamstars.

I can't imagine a world where Concord is a success while its Concord. It's inherent existence is based on jumping on a bandwagon. It's like trying to bring back one of those mediocre 90s Sonic wannabes or doing a remaster of those bad 360 era Medal of Honor games. Those ideas I just named would cost significantly less money than saving Concord.
As someone who bought their PS5 Slim w/disc drive and w/Spider Man 2 for $400, seeing Sony asking $700 for a console without a disc drive is perhaps the most arrogant of a position I've ever seen them in. Can't blame the jump from a 1 TB SSD to a 2 TB SSD either. That's what...a $70 difference?
Regardless, it sets a poor expectation for PS6.

I think the biggest problem with modern game marketing is that every old game stands out to me and nearly every new (AAA) game feels like "Unreal Engine 5 video game number 90", across 3 game genres. Outside of the Ghost of Tsushima sequel which does indeed at least look like a Ghost of Tsushima sequel.
If you show me the best looking game ever, but you do it 90 times in a broadly samey way across only 3 game genres, I'd find a game with merely a unique art style (or even a not especially unique art style that I just won't see again across a 20-30 minute presentation) from 25 years ago infinitely more appealing. You are not From Software btw, plz stop.
@kkslider5552000 Absolutely agree. I think it's been that way for a good 20 years as well unfortunately.
@VoidofLight I'm not sure this precludes making visually interesting games. AFAIK Pikmin 4, Hi-fi Rush and Dragon Ball FighterZ were all made in Unreal Engine.
@Buizel That’s true. Maybe it’s just an issue with companies trying to chase hyper realism instead of stylization. I feel like out of the games that tend to do realism, the Final Fantasy series does it pretty well. Pretty distinct from other realistic styles. With the more anime-like facial features.

Yeah I wouldn't know exactly what it is but it just feels like Unreal Engine 5 just has a premade impressive video game art style and its the easiest way to make a good looking AAA game in an acceptable AAA look so everyone just went with the same thing, or something close to it at least. Like they saw the demonstrations Unreal Engine put out and they decided "yeah, that".
I have a question about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I played Final Fantasy VII Remake and had no problems with it, it was not too dark or too violent and I am still a little bit surprised, that it has an age rating of 16 in my country. My question is, if I had no problems playing Remake, do you think it is okay for me to play Rebirth, or is it much more darker and violent?
@Jhena
That FF VII Rebirth was rated PEGI 16 , Teen by ESRB with these content description.
Blood, Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, Violence
Description from ESRB:
This is an action role-playing game in which players follow the story of a mercenary (Cloud Strife) on a quest to save the planet from evil. Players explore fantasy landscapes, perform missions, and battle monsters and soldiers in frenetic melee combat. Characters use swords, staffs, guns, and magic spells to fight monsters and human soldiers; combat is highlighted by impact sounds, cries of pain, and explosions. Cutscenes depict further instances of violence, sometimes with splatters/pools of blood: characters impaled or slashed by swords, sometimes with slow-motion effects; an assassin throwing a spinning blade at a targeted figure; characters shot by soldiers. Some female characters are designed with revealing outfits (e.g., deep cleavage); suggestive dialogue sometimes accompanies camera panning/close-ups of characters' bodies/outfits (e.g., “Just admit it. You're obviously captivated by my bodacious beach bod.”). The game contains some alcohol content: as Cloud, players can drink a version of moonshine while at a bar; cutscenes sometimes feature drunk characters slurring their speech. A handful of scenes depict characters smoking cigars or out of hookahs. The words “sh*t,” “a*shole,” and “pr*ck” appear in the game.
Because of that contents, it considered as almost adult games so it rated PEGI 16.
Btw, i don't play this game as i never like FF VII and the remake / rebirth version got more mature content so i banned FF VII games from my gaming area.
@Anti-Matter
Thank you. Yeah it does sound worse than Remake. Oh well, maybe if I am patient enough they will make them USK 12 again. In the meantime I will play Dragon Quest or something like that.
I bought Epic Mickey, Unicorn Overlord and Visions of Mana for the PlayStation 5 today. I have also a sealed copy of Granblue Fantasy Relink lying around here. This is more than enough goodness to keep me entertained for a while.
