More and more developers are moving away from the monthly fee to play system. It's a shame it's never for the games people actually want to play.

FFXIV is supposed to be $13 a month...a LITTLE better than the more common $15. I may consider it if enough friends play it, but I'll have to wait for the PS3 release (stupid PC version coming first...).

@Stuff.... I dont want to pay $15 for PSN titles I was going to buy Shank today but yet again its another overpriced PSN game. Im sorry but I dont see the worth to add up. I got Chronicles of Riddick for $9 on a disc this weekend, I got Soldner X both games today for $10. $15 for one PSN game isnt worth it. Ive bought 3 at that price, Ive regreted buying Wakeboarding and Smash Cars both and Joe Danger was the only one worth it. From what I hear Deathspank isnt long enough for the price either!

Trust me Castle Crashers is worth the 15 dollars it is a must buy next week

I think I'll just get the FFXIV OST, because that's the only reason I want it, and I don't want to get hooked on a MMO.

FF11 was eleven dollars a month, i would actually pay ten dollars a month to play an MMO i find that very reasonable

The thing about PSN games is that you pay the money and you can't get the money back and you can't trade it in if it sux..

A word of warning about FFXIV: It seems Square is having problems working around the home consoles RAM limitations. The non-PC versions might wind up chock full of terrible loading times.

What!?! They are saying the PS3 is NOT powerful enough? This humours me as I was thinking the slogan of the PS3 "It only does EVERYTHING!"...now we know it "Doesn't do MMOs".

In all seriousness, that sucks.

I dont think we will ever see a successful full out MMO on any console without keyboard or mouse, unless it's a FPS. I think the next borderlands game will be an MMO, just a guess though.

I got a PS3 yesterday with Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet and Valkyria Chronicles. Should be enough to keep me going for a few weeks, hopefully.

I saw Valkyria in the store the other day and just grabbed it, without knowing anything about it, because it looked pretty good. Haven't regretted it

A few weeks is definately realistic for Valkyria Chronicles...just an amazing game that takes ages to complete...and even then you can do things through your second playthrough. (Like trying to kill that "Ty the Immortal" fellow). Hope you enjoy it enough to try the sequel too!

LittleBigPlanet has loads of replayability so that may also keep you busy for awhile too.

Anyone know if you can save your level progression in soldner x?

@ax.... a whole lot of nothing really. Its obvious that the editor had limited knowledge of Biowares past. In many ways she is very wrong. FF13 port to xbox caused the game to limited. Nintendo and Microsoft moving full force into Casualland caused us to get watered down games. I like her optimism but i think facts precedes her opinions.
