This news is awesome. A Little King's Story sequel was not something I expected to happen.

I knew someone would say that. I was referring specifically to Little King's Story. As in, don't give up releasing LKS for the Nintendo consoles. They can release it on PSvita, sure. It may be our baby, but it's flown the nest now. All I hope is that we see another game in the franchise on a Nintendo console - whether it's a port of this announced game or a new one for the 3DS.

And regarding Harvest Moon, Yaaaaawn. Rune Factory on the other hand interests me, sure. I've been meaning to buy one for some time now, but they keep releasing sequels. Do you have any suggestions on which I should buy, by the way?

But I want to play a new LKS and I'm not entirely sold on the PSVita yet.

Now if Monster Hunter skips the 3DS (and the WiiU), I may have to change my idea...

I really did mean "comes to mind right now" as I was drawing a complete blank, I wasn't attacking the 3DS. That being said, Sonic Generations and Shinobi somewhat interest me (but nowhere near the level of a new Little King's Story, which would be a day one purchase). I feel the 3rd party support has been pretty damn awful so far though.

Nazo Waku Yakata is probably the most interesting title so far.

EDIT: Ah, I knew I forgot about something! All of the Level-5 games look amazing.

I wouldn't recommend Rune Factory over Harvest Moon, personally, so I'm not the best person to talk to about that. I prefer Harvest Moon by a long, long way.

Sony probably offered Marvellous a better kick back for putting Little King's Story on Vita than 3DS. That's all. It's the final straw that sold the Vita to me, though, so it worked.

This is fantastic news! I can't express how excited I am about this! I'm just glad to be getting a sequel to Little King's Story regardless of what system it is on. Hopefully this one will sell well enough to continue the franchise so we can get another game, possibly on next-gen systems like the Wii U.

Don't take offense regarding my Harvest Moon comments, by the way. I only said that because I read in a magazine (regarding the new market one), that they aren't innovating any more. For that, I always sought to give Rune Factory a try. Also, I've played Harvest Moon on four different platforms (the original, the GBA version, A wonderful Life and Magical Melody (the Wii remake of the 2nd Gamecube one), and enjoyed each one moderately.

And regarding your final statement, if Cing wasn't bankrupted (because, ironically, no one bought their brilliant games) and were making this sequel, you could bet your bottom dollar, it would be released on a Nintendo console as well. Marvelous (as producer) probably would have sought to release it on the Vita as well, and everyone would be happy (apart from XBOX fans).

There is going to be a bit of a power difference in the Vita and 3DS. I'm glad that this hasn't been announced for the 3DS and hope it isn't so the developers can concentrate on the one version of the game instead of holding back.

Yeah, this. I'm going to own both consoles, so it doesn't really matter which a game is released on for me. But I would rather a team focus on one or the other... The consoles are so different that a cross platform game isn't going to do Vita or 3DS any favours.

I loved Little King's story! Please bring this to 3DS Marvelous! Although I still haven't finished the first one as it stopped working just after I lost in a frustratingly close fight against King jumbo Champloon and I sent it to nintendo last month to get it fixed and it still isn't back yet which is strange as they were fairly quick with the other wii games that I sent to them.

This. I want a 3DS release as much as the next guy, but at least there is a sequel.

That's nice, even though I probably won't ever play it. It's awesome to see good, unique games being able to continue their lifespans.

Would be cool if it came to 3DS too. I really think LKS could make an awesome portable game. I don't see it being a big seller on any system though tbh. I think most people think it looks and sounds WAY to kiddy.

Bad image, amazing game. But hopefully they'll release it on both 3DS and Vita at some point. I'd get it day one on 3DS.
