Topic: Little King's Story Sequel for PSvita

Although I'm interested in Kingdom Hearts 3DS and Cave Story 3DS I typically buy the Nintendo handhelds for the first party software. I like the PSVita because it is more of a serious device. The PSVita is in reality a Pocket Sized PS3 and you just can't go wrong there especially if you a handheld person like myself and always on the go as is our family.

Guys, let's keep this on-topic as a Little King's Story Vita thread, not another Vita vs. 3DS topic. Thanks.

FFFFFFFF- indeed.

Not a single interesting 3rd party 3DS game comes to mind right now =/

Sonic Generations
Shinobi
Metal Gear Solid 3D
Heroes of Ruin
Tales of the Abyss
Bit Trip
Cave Story 3D
Tekken 3D
Kingdom Hearts
Resident Evil: Revelations
Contra 3D
Dr. Lautrec
NONE of these interest you?

1. Not really, I'm more interested in the console variant
2. Was interested but it looks like an updated DS game (which it is rumored to originally be)
3. Possibly interested but I already own 2 copies of MGS3
4. Never heard of it
5. Already have it
6. Already have them
7. Already have it but I might get it eventually, just not for more than $20
8. Ewwww Tekken
9. Not Kingdom Hearts 3, not caring. My "another junky spin-off" sense is tingling. Also known as my "Ugh, Square-Enix" sense
10. Interested but need to see how it is reviewed first considering the crap Capcom has been pumping out lately.
11. I don't even think Konami announced this formally, Nintendo just put a Contra logo up at E3. Would be interested if the game is real
12. Professor Layton rip-off/cash-in, no thanks

So get a Vita and Little King's Story. It's unlikely to get a 3DS release.

I wonder if the devs will try and do something clever with the rear touch pad.

I could do without the plain anime cutouts but the actual in-game stuff looks great!

So looks like this is a proper sequel where Corobo is still king several years after LKS, but I see those pesky ONI are still around. That picture of the cow reminds me of the battle scenes from Shining Force, which has just increased my already throbbing desire for this game.

I really hope we do get this on 3DS! The Original was on the Wii so I would be a bit surprised if they broke the sequel away from Nintendo formats. Maybe Marvelous are putting the sequel on the Vita because of the Graphic capabilities - Maybe for Wii U?

That game looks hawt! @_@ Wowsers.

Just hope they add a lot of new classes and some new gameplay elements. The beauty of the first game was how the shook it up and stayed creative from boss to boss. I will be interested to see if they can keep it fresh or if they just fall back on a lot of the originals ideas.

Was the game not very similar to Pikmin?

@JayArr So far I see the farmer, miner and soldier classes, but the rest just look like untrained layabouts, although one looks vaguely similar to Princess Apricot to me. Perhaps a two-player co-op mode is in order

@GreatManaTree In some respects it's quite similar to Pikmin, but in most ways it's much better (in my opinion!)

And yes, we need this on 3DS, please.

Thanks James! I thought it was.....LKS is really atracting to me but when i founded out it was a lil like Pikmin, i cancelled the purchase. I really didn't like Pikmin's chaotic controls....my adhd friend loved it, doh.

I find it easier than Pikmin as you have an on-screen arrow showing where your attacks will go.

It's probably about $10 or less for LKS now. Give it a go, it's brilliant.

Chrono_Cross

It really is. One of the best underrated games on the Wii.

Just for you.

I hate it when character art pops up on the screen next to text like in this screen. Sight..

And I kind of miss the cute look of the original. And what happened to the kind of water color paint style?

Is it even the same developer as in the original? They seem to be changing the game a whole lot...

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

It still looks somewhat washed-out, but they used a ton of bloom this time. I dig it. Honestly, the style of the original is a bit hit-and-miss.

I loved that style. I blamed the Wiis hardware limitations for making the style not being all it could have been.

Kind of sucks that they're stepping away from it. From what I've seen this far I'm quite turned of. Looks like they're changing a bit to much and making it worse, at lest for my taste.

Man, those screenshots are MORE THAN impressive. I'm looking forward to this! Let's hope it'll be a launch title.

I wasn't blown away by the original, but I'd probably buy this if it were for 3DS. But I'm definitely not spending $250 on a Vita just for this.
