My favourite developer by FAR is Bioware, insanely good company with an almost impeccable track record, not sure who I'd vote least favourite though... been a lot of shovelware from a lot of different devs
I like Nintendo and HAL Labs. ^.^ and yeah, I know HAL is part of Nintendo. I just have a special part in my heart for them. <3 I kinda like RetroStudios, but they have yet to surprise me. And I like Irrational Games for creating Bioshock, but I've only read about it.
Meh EA- Since they're a big publisher, they hardly progress in innovation; they gave gamers a bad image to the public and pretty much stereotyped us thanks to this; they give indie developers a hard time and take their intellectual property. I know they're trying to play it safe, but they can do better than now.
whenever i think of EA, it is that they are more known for their sports games. but that is the problem: it seems that by focusing on making just sports games and not other types of games as well, they think this will do their image a lot of good.
EA needs to branch out more.
lol what? EA needs to branch out? Just because they don't put EA in front of anything but their sports titles doesn't mean they don't publish any other titles...
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
EA "braches" out a lot - it has its own publishing arm for risky ventures, called EA Partners, that publised the market-failures-but-artistic-maaaan Alice Madness Returns and Shadows of the Damned.
EA has also "branched" into mobile gaming like almost no one else. EA owns Firemint and Chillingo, as well as Playfish on the social gaming side.
EA's moving away from traditional publishing to an extent, but that hardly means they're playing it safe.
Favourite: The divine god of gaming, out saviour among the woeful hours of weekends and days-off. The one and only, the almighty, the downright incredible Sony. Least favourite: That weird game company. You know, the one that made those lame Mario and Zelda games?

i need to keep out on those non-sports titles they come out with.
I used to love Rare back in the days of SNES and N64, but not so much since they left Nintendo. Blizzard has made some really great multiplayer titles, but they don't seem to be the same Blizzard I remember from times past. As of lately, I am really impressed with Retro Studios. Just played and finished Metroid Prime 3 and it has got to rank among the best games on the Wii. And of course the best studio in the world is Nintendo's in-house crew

retro made the latest mario kart 7 game for the 3DS, and the yes the prime series was great.

I noticed that and it almost makes me want to go out and buy it just for that reason I played a whole lotta Mario Kart years back, and I haven't quite got the urge to jump back into it yet.
I really dont care who makes it. If I like the game, I buy it. But if I have to have a worst company... probably ubisoft (only like 5% of their games are worth getting) or probably some other shovelware company that no one knows about.
