i think nintendo should buy killer instinct and battletoads from rareware. because quite frankly, rareware don't care about those titles any more.
I totally agree. I would probably buy a new Killer Instinct if it came out on a Nintendo platform. Battletoads definitely needs some love. The new generation needs to experience what it's like to play a muscle-bound frog in a very difficult/frustrating game.

Neither did Nintendo. There were no Battletoads games on the GBA, N64 or the Gamecube and the only Killer Instinct title on the N64 was a rushed arcade port.

battletoads was like teenage mutant ninja turtles but with frogs instead of turtles. @Nintendeau yes, i know nintendo didn't have too much love for killer instinct and it's very underrated. however, i feel nintendo should have a fighting game per se to rival streetfighter, tekken, virtua fighter etc, and for that, it has to be killer instinct. i used to play that with my brother on the SNES and it was good fun.
add lots of new fighters/characters, special moves, combos, better graphics and don't make it too complicated to grasp, and that'll be it.

You have to remember the Rareware of today is not the same Rareware that did the Battletoads and KI games. Thats why their part of MS now. The original guys who started the company sold it all to MS so I am sure that when that happened alot of the old employees left as well.

Yes. So, another Wizards & Warriors or Snake, Rattle & Roll may never be realized.
konami- yet another fan favourite of the 80s and 90s when they were at their peak. metal gear is all right. and yet hideo kojima, the creator of metal gear series is anti-nintendo. or so i've heard. they too haven't made enough good I.Ps these days.
and rumble roses was well, i think i'll leave it to that.
That seems like pretty Faulty logic. Disliking all the Major Companies (SMH) when Capcom is just as bad as them and having the company that killed Hudson on the list is faulty. Also your reasons for disliking Team Ninja are derpy and it would be interesting to here your beef with the rest of the companies on your list.
edit: LOL at the old/new rare comments. cmon people get serious
Nintendo (everything) These people make awesome games. Probably the only company that got me to get a game day-one (Kid Icarus: Uprising anyone?)
Squaresoft ('90's) The best RPG maker of the '90's, with Final Fantasy VI being my favorite. (VII sucked, though.)

Microsoft (now) Back then, Microsoft was just 'mazing. Halo, Fable 1, Forza. Just had awesome games for Xbox only. Now, though... they abandoned their audience. Their focuses on making the 360 an entertainment hub just makes me want to sigh. Plus, they also basically flat-out said, "we don't care about exclusives." (http://www.gamezone.com/products/xbox-360/news/microsoft-comments-on-lack-of-new-xbox-360-exclusive-ips) How can any gamer get excited about that? Microsoft cites that they need to make the games to have quality put into it, but look at Nintendo. They pump out lots of games for both their consoles and handhelds and still produce awesome games. Oh sure, developing for an SD console is not the same as developing for an HD console. But there still shouldn't be any excuse for having no games. And let's not forget about Sony: look at the releases for the PS3 at 2010 and 2011. They proved to have quality AND quantity. In HD. People shoot back that Microsoft could be working on games for the Xbox successor. But explain 2010, when development of the Wii U started in 2008, and there was lots of software for the Wii in 2010. Explain that. Please.
