Nintendo Valve Level-5 Treasure Sucker Punch Atlus Bioware Irrational Platinum Games From Software Gearbox Insomniac Retro Studios Sony Rocksteady and tons of studios no longer together (Clover, Looking Glass, more)
Least Favorite:
Activision (essentially the Sith/Empire of the video game industry) Square-Enix (funny considering I thought Squaresoft and Enix were both great separately...) Epic Games (I wonder if they even remember what the Unreal series was) Crapcom (closed Clover, cancelling games, blaming fans, and releasing multiple versions of the same game in more series than just Street Fighter now)
UbiSoft - (Rayman aside.....The Rabbids and Ubi's cheap lazy Wii/3DS cash ins can go die in a mondo grease fire.) Activision - (Curse you for drenching this world with Call of Duty....GTA aside, COD is probably my other most hated franchise.)
the main reason why ubisoft have been profitable as a company is because of the huge sales of just dance and assassins creed. 20 years ago, they were nowhere near as big as they are now today. just dance is ok- if you like dancing games or a bit of fun, other than that, meh. assassins creed should be on the wii U. all their other franchises are forgettable.
as for activision, i'll pass on them. i don't care for COD either.
Meh EA- Since they're a big publisher, they hardly progress in innovation; they gave gamers a bad image to the public and pretty much stereotyped us thanks to this; they give indie developers a hard time and take their intellectual property. I know they're trying to play it safe, but they can do better than now.
whenever i think of EA, it is that they are more known for their sports games. but that is the problem: it seems that by focusing on making just sports games and not other types of games as well, they think this will do their image a lot of good.

ghost recon, splinter cell, splinter 6, red steel, prince of persia and driver i have heard of and seen. the rest i'm unfamiliar with.
Favorites: Nintendo (and all of their second parties), Sega, Konami, and Capcom
Least Favorites: Titus, THQ, whoever made Ninjabread Man
Ew, THQ is awful....The last THQ title i played was Deadly Creatures.....The coolest thing about that game was the title screen.lol Mediocrity sums up that one pretty nicely. Money well wasted, but i ended up selling it on eBay and practically getting the money back that i payed for it later on hehe.
THQ are another company where their success solely lies mainly in WWE games. i prefer their old logo over their current one.
@shingi_70 Motoheroz has nothing to do with Ubisoft unless Redlynx is a part of Ubisoft and I'm pretty sure they aren't.
Ubisoft bough tRedlynx and in turns now owns Motoheroz. =P
Oh yeah, I remember that happening now. Now my last comment seems pretty stupid with me sounding so sure that that didn't happen when I had just forgotten that it did.
another company that went downhill are rare ware- or rare as they were known back in the days under nintendo. they had the likes of donkey kong country, goldeneye 007, banjo kazooie for the N64, super nintendo.
these days under microsoft- who bought rare in 2002 for a reported $375 million, they release shovel ware like that kinnect sports game. i played that in the game store last year- i disliked it.
