They've pretty much gotten the big three to fund or help with the Marketing with at least one of their games in the past year or so.

Nintendo put the Zelda stuff and pretty much marketed Monster Hunter 4.
Microsoft paid for the development and Marketing of Dead Rising 3
SCEJ is probably helping with Deep Down

If anything their playing it incredbly safe when at the start of a generation they should be taking as many risks as possible.
