Ah well. Think positive! MH3 was an awesome experience for an immense amount of time and I wouldn't trade a single moment of it for anything. Too many good memories there to complain about the game wholeheartedly. The unique gameplay, setting and monsters sucked me in for over half a year. o_O I'm the sort of person who plays multiple games at once and for most of this year I was just playing MH3 on its own!

I do have to add though, I just got Uncharted 2 (GOTY 2009 for a lot of places), The newest Ratchet and Clank game, and 3D Dot Game Heroes (aka the only real 2D Zelda game since MC) and after experiencing all of these new types of games, it just seemed pointless to go back and fight the same monster... Over and over... Now I see how those 100+ feel who only get on with friends. MHF3 with hopefully make me come back to monster hunter, but for now I'm gone.

I have been stuck at work for ten hours straight with little to no break! I am going to go home and play some MH to unwind tonight. Nothing makes me feel better than stabbing a Gobul aftcr a long stressful day. xD

In the middle of an ala fight, my TV just blanks out and I can't see a thing. I can't hear anything or do anything about it either. Out of all the things that could have happened, did it have to be that? I hope that I was DCed or something but if I wasn't, I'm very sorry for suddenly stopping in place and not doing anything. @SP/Jay (I believe you 2 were with me) Was I disconnected or not?

Edit My TV isn't coming back. Not sure how to fix this but if I'm lucky, I will be on in up to an hour. I will update this when it is fixed.

@Crazygamerfreak No you didn't d/c you died but thankfully we still beat ala, you were also able to type "My tv blanked out" so we knew happened. You were still there when I logged off too. Hope your tv is ok

@Superpeach TV is most likely not going to be ok. We have gotten a signal for at the most, 5 minutes. I figured that the only way to fix this was to buy a new a new TV (which basically means I can't record anymore).
But if things go as I hope, I'll be on somewhere around 1-3pm.

ok. Im HR 50 and it says im "uneligable" to bring my HR any higher. But at the same time my urgent quest has not even become available. Ive done almost all the quests and it still has not opened up! What do i need to do?

You need to do all major 4 star quests! Don't worry about the fetch quests! Some of them might not be available every turn. You might have to start a quest and then back out to see if you have them all done.

I'm online every now and then, was wanting to ask though...since I can't select it when making a city (>_>), how do you select "Solo Play"?

I think you can do that only in open or expert.

It's gotta win baby. Maybe Capcom will hear about it and be further motivated to make a version on the 3DS.

OK I know I'm going to get blasted for this but I think monster hunter falls short when it comes to game of the year. I would more call it experience of the yard that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. It could have been so much more but felt like incomplete once you get overamk 50. Most online games keep you coming back with many different events and modes to keep it fresh. But after a while it was just rehash after rehash of the same old. I hope the next one makes me eat my words and is the gaming experience that it should be!!

Been going online every now and then before classes start Wednesday, somehow ran into Ray and did a few quests by ourselves. We somehow managed to survive the Barioth and Rathalos combo event on our first try. xD
