@Snaplocket No women I can think of in the Xenoblade series, or the Xeno series as a whole (correct me if one does exist in Xenogears, I know nothing of that one) comes close to matching Pyra's cup size, not even "Boob-Teneritas" KOS-MOS. Being a co-protagonist makes her stand out that much more, too. Otherwise the fanservice is mostly par for the course, the main difference being the "offenders" (the unique female Blades) acting the part instead of just carrying on like they were always fully clothed.
@Snaplocket I think people's concerns arise mostly from the fact that the outfits are non-customizable. Yeah, the past Xeno games had some absurdly fanservice-y outfits. But at least in the past two games they were optional. In this game, if you don't like the character's design, well, tough, there's nothing you can do about it.
Personally, I like most of the designs so far, but I can understand someone's dismay should they dislike a character's armor set.
Mario Galaxy is ten years old, and now I feel old.
I think I don't actually care that much about trailers containing spoilers. They mean so little out of context and I immediately forget about any of it once I play the game.
@ilikeike
That's probably a big factor in how they managed to make this game so quickly. It's the only 1 without 1000 customisations for each character.
As long as they‘re no puppet-looking characters like more than half of the entire main cast XCX, I don’t care how generic the other Blades (not counting the main cast, I like pretty much everyone‘s designs) look, though, it‘s a sentiment I agree with. Will be mainly using Pyra, though, she‘s my favorite ... for ... obvious reasons ...

Haven't visited this thread since the Xenoblade 2 Direct that I skipped.
Man, you people spoil yourself on the characters is still too much for me.
I'm back in when I've beaten a considerate amount of the game.
@Snaplocket Definitely. Somehow my XC1 file got deleted 80% through the main game so I never finished it back then. Tried to play the 3DS version in an attempt to finally finish the game but holy cow, these models look horrendous! I still like the characters and their personalities so I‘d take XC1 cast over X‘s any day of the week.
I was going to skip this game for now since I haven't finished the original Xenoblade Chronicles yet but the closer we get to the release date, the more interested I am in getting it as soon as possible. I had zero interest when it was first revealed but I'm getting excited just because others are as well. Anyone want to convince me I don't have time to play through it? I know I'll stop playing halfway through the game. That's what happens most of the time with games this big. I mean, I still haven't beaten Breath of the Wild even though I absolutely loved it. I didn't have time to play it for a while and then I just never got back to it.
@Late
Even if you never finish it, it's a new experience and I'd cherish that. Don't pass it up. Cause experiences like this are unique and just as tare.
Buy it. Play it. Love it.

People are apparently getting their game early and are reporting their thoughts on it. The way people talk about handheld mode continues to be super weird: I've heard everything from "it's blurry and shockingly downgraded, moreso than with other Switch games" to "it looks better in handheld than it does on the dock."
I don't think I've ever heard opinions vary this much on the portable performance of a game before.
EDIT:
This is an image someone posted of the game running in handheld mode.
THIS is what people were saying looks terrible and blurry?
@EvilLucario Seems that way. Which is about what I expected, and pretty much all anyone can expect. There's a limit to how good a game can look undocked without nuking the battery life.
I still want to see a video of it in motion, but so far, the complaints about "blurriness" look like a lot of hot air.
@Ralizah WOW.. that image of handheld mode.. can’t stand that blurriness! I think I’m gona put my Switch in tabletop mode, joycons detached, boot up Xenoblade when it arrives, start the fire and run for my life leaving house being burned to the ground!
Also.. damn you all people who got their copies earlier! 😡
I heard someone else say they got BotW to hit 4 hours 40 minutes on lowest brightness settings. If 5 hours is with a good enough brightness, then color me impressed. Perhaps that's why it looks more "blurry" if it goes towards battery savings over performance.

@EvilLucario One guy said he got 5 and a half hours out of 45% brightness, which probably means a little less than 5 hours or so on mostly full brightness.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
@Ralizah That's pretty good. Regardless, I think some people would have appreciated a 720p option that sacrifices battery power. Not sure how that would work though, probably not feasible.
