@Zuljaras A beautiful pile of distractions. But isn't that only a small portion of your overall collection? I was under the impression your collection exceeded my own? I see...230-240 games in the picture?

Switch Physical Collection - 1,536 games (as of December 14th, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

Zuljaras

@Magician I only have 225 and some more on the way but I definitely not more than you

You have so much! I have a genuine question. Do you really like every game in your collection? I mean is your gaming taste so rich?

@Zuljaras Unfortunately, no. I do not like every game in my collection. It's a byproduct of aiming to have a complete collection for some boutique publishers (although not all of them). LRG, SRG, and P-A. I have an up-to-date complete collection of their numbered releases. Sadly, all of them are not immune to what I would consider to be...bad choices in games to publish physically.

They're all guilty of releasing some straight up trash-tier experiences.

@Magician Ah, so it is for collection purposes. I am restricted by money ofc but even if was not I could not imagine getting a game and not playing it and liking it.

I also never understood the purpose of having a sealed copy if it is not going to be sold later

Magician

@Zuljaras I don't understand that segment of collecting either, those who choose to keep games sealed. Especially with second-hand sellers sending customers googly eyes rather than actual cartridges. If you don't open your purchases to check the contents of the box and/or the legitimacy of the cartridge, you're basically gambling.

NintendoByNature

So which is the actual switch 2 thread? There's half a dozen switch 2 variant threads on here.

NintendoByNature

FishyS

@NintendoByNature there's a whole Switch 2 forum. You could always make a thread in it called 'The Nintendo Switch 2 Thread' and see if it sticks 😆

@FishyS I've seen switch 2 leaks, switch 2 predictions, switch 2 release date predictions, among a few others lol. Not sure where to post my thoughts about the system! 🤣

NintendoByNature

FishyS

@NintendoByNature yeah, I'm not sure if the staff will make a special thread or just leave it to us peons to make whatever threads we want and maybe use them.

Apparently there are already 55 seperate threads/topics in the Switch 2 forum. Granted, there are several thousand in the Switch forum so it will take a bit to catch up.

I'm a bit lost. Can't seem to focus on choosing a new game to play or even just playing Mario Maker 2 levels at this point. Keep thinking about how Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered is a just bit over 2 weeks away, it's going to be so exciting being able to replay these games. Aspyr released 2 more trailers earlier in the day.

And a PS blog post with more info:

@FishyS

Sorry I accidentally deleted the first part. It was supposed to be a predictive list of Nintendo Switch select titles.

@Overzeal If they do Selects I would expect most of the Wii U ports to be part of it. Though I'm not sure MK8D would be included because it's still doing gangbusters at full price after nearly eight years.
They could potentially bring back Mario 3D All Stars as a Selects title too. Probably not likely but that's my wild card prediction (again, if Selects does actually happen for Switch, and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't at this point).

Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music

The fact that new super mario bros U Deluxe is on a sale right now for a huge 30% off makes me think Nintendo is definitely not planning selects. New console coming out? We will generously offer 30% off on a port of a 2012 game.
