@Grumblevolcano my fear is that after 6 years of development, Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, is just Breath of the Wild in the sky,after all Tears of the Kingdom started as the third DLC for Breath of the Wild, the same situation of Super Mario Galaxy to Super Mario Galaxy 2(but at least you can tell apart which game are different), so far i have seen no difference that set Tears of the Kingdom apart for Breath of the Wild, just like Super Mario Galaxy 2 did to Super Mario Galaxy 1, or Ocarina of Time to Majora Mask
So Microsoft are now joining Nintendo in shutting down more stores. Following on from Fire Emblem Fates in February and 3DS/Wii U as a whole in March, it's recommended you buy any Xbox 360 content by May:
"We will be closing the Xbox 360 Marketplace over the next year, so we encourage you to purchase any 360 games or DLC by May 2023."
@Giancarlothomaz Tears of the Kingdom started as the third DLC for Breath of the Wild
First off, that's false, and this isn't the first time I've had to clarify this for someone. The sequel was absolutely not just DLC. You're misreading things. It's a new game because they wanted to make a new game. Just because an idea got incorporated doesn't mean it was originally DLC. But even if it was, that still wouldn't make it any lesser of a new game.
Secondly, even if it is just "BotW in the sky", what's wrong with that? It's literally a follow up to Breath of the Wild, using the same assets and redesigned world, so obviously its gonna be like BotW. Did anyone ever actually think it wouldn't be? And, just because it's like BotW doesn't mean it is BotW. It's a sequel, and if you've ever played a sequel before, it's supposed to be similar. Why? Because people liked the first thing, so they give ppl a second thing similar to the first.
It's why God of War Ragnarok is, surprise surprise, similar to God of War. It's why Horizon Forbidden West is similar to Horizon Zero Dawn. It's why Halo Infinite is similar to every other Halo.
There is nothing wrong with Tears of the Kingdom being "like BotW". If it was truly just a quick turnaround sequel without its own equal effort put in, it would have released years ago. The fact it's releasing 6 years later should be an obvious testament to its quality.
@JaxonH Majora Mask is a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time and yet the game is completely direferent to Ocarina of Time(i want to have this similar feel that i felt when i played Ocarina of Time to Majora Mask when i play Tears of the Kingdom, i dont want to feel that i playing Breath of the 2.0, is really that hard to undestand my concern with the game)
@Giancarlothomaz
Majora's Mask isnt that different. Aside from the time mechanic, its the same Zelda formula. Similar graphics, similar puzzles, similar combat, etc. It has one major difference, but so will Tears of the Kingdom.
All that said, the minute you start judging games you haven't played based on a specific checklist of demands, you set yourself up for irrational disappointment. Judge games for what they are, not what they aren't or what you imagine to want, or for how "different" they are for difference's sake, as if being "different" somehow equates to a superior experience.
Otherwise you can literally be disappointed with anything for no justifiable reason. "Different" =/= "better" and "similar" =/= "worse". There are at least 100 games I could find that are "similar" to a preceding entry that are among the greatest video games ever made, and another 100 that "different" to a preceding entry which are mediocre, or at best they're not as fun as the preceding entry.
If the game turns out to be not that good, so be it, but judge it for what it is, not arbitrary criteria.

@Giancarlothomaz I don't see that happening unless either TotK is delayed again or is moved forward to April like how XC3 released in July instead of September.
Malice the substance that can destroy Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom and Ganondorf darker secret in the game and Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, final game in the franchise timeline?
I'm eager for DNF Duel. I would have preferred Guilty Gear Strive, but I'll take DNF Duel as a backup. I'm a fan of Arcsystemworks, so I usually purchased whatever they're involved with. The DNF property is neither here-nor-there with me. I played a bit of the gimped Xbox 360 version back in the day, that's about it though.
