I wonder when Switch 15.0.0 will happen, generally we get 2 major system updates a year where the first is in March/April and the second is in September but September is coming to a close.

Although I'm not the biggest Switch collector on this site, today's Amazon delivery should put me over 1k games in the Switch physical collection. Over the past five years I've been cycling games in and out of my physical collection. I probably would be the biggest collector for the platform on this site if I didn't do that, but I prefer keeping those games I enjoy playing (and intend to play again) rather than just having a box sit on a shelf.

I have never loved, and at the same time, hated a gaming console as much as I do the Switch.
Why did the joy-cons build quality have to be such garbage?

Man, I think I'm getting sucked back into Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Checked out the Title Update 2 content, and Holy moly there's so much new stuff added between Title Update 1 and 2.
Like, there's more content for post game then there was in the main story of Sunbreak. There's Afflicted Monster Investigations, a shop that sells rare mantles for Afflicted Coins, there's Qurios Crafting for armor with a whole RNG system (already got +19 Defense on an armor piece at the cost of losing 1 pt in Focus... done), Qurios Crafting for weapons with a whole slot mechanic, there's layered weapons now that work exactly like layered armor, there's new Master Rank Event Quests, new Follower Quests, new Support Survey Quests, new Anomoly Quests, Anomoly Investigations that rank up to Level 120 now, there's new Urgent Quests, like 7 new monsters- Lucent Nargacuga, Gold Rathian, Silver Rathalos, Seething Bazelguese, Risen Chameleos, Flaming Espinas and Violet Mizutsune, there's a new Arena with Forlorn Arena recreated from the 3rd gen...
And that's on top of all the content that already existed in the game from launch, which was like 250 Quests. It's overwhelming and I love it. Took down an Afflicted Great Izuchi and it was so much fun.
Oh, and armor can now be upgraded even further, and there's awesome new DLC layered armor. I'm rockin this Fall setup but with shades instead of a scarf, and it goes hard

'Grats on the 1k - that's quite the milestone. I'm nearly as impressed by the fact you've kept track of the number as I am in awe of the library you must have. I would like to know how big mine is, but can't find the time to catalogue it properly, and mine is likely no more than a third of yours.
Who here is a bigger Switch collector than you, do you think?
Also interested to know if your collecting of Switch games is mirrored by your collecting of Switch hardware. I currently have 8 different models.

@Magician ok so how big is your game room? I’m in a smaller space (game room wise not overall) and the the lack of display real estate is making me rethink my whole setup. (That and I apparently seriously underestimated how much stuff I have in here. ) and I am not even a collector.

I literally just bought a drill gun, bit and driver set, digital level and stud finder, probably spent $60 in total (super cheap investment worth its weight in gold) and grabbed a 6 foot shelf and two 3 foot shelves. Gotta take advantage of vertical space if you wanna maximize.

It's fun setting up a collection on display. Just pace yourself. It doesn't grow overnight. It takes years, bit by bit.

Thanks. It's a constant battle with running out of space. Have to keep rearranging and finding creative ways to do more with less. Every square inch matters.
The trap you can fall into is overcrowding. I learned the hard way, displays actually look worse when things aren't spaced properly and are crowded too close together. There's always the temptation to crowd things closer together, fit more on a shelf, but I've learned it's better to box something up and not display it if the alternative is overcrowding. Cause that just makes the entire shelf look bad.
