@Grumblevolcano
The Spryo games are freakin' awesome. I poured 40 hours into those on Switch without batting an eyelash, and I need to go back to 100% all of three of them.
I have to say the first is still my favorite. Not a fan of the skateboarding levels, which I think are only in the second one. Those are really the only thing I'm not looking forward to doing again.
Just finished up Luigi's Mansion 3. It's the first in the series I've played, and while I'm letting my thoughts on it digest, first impressions are that it was very good, but not quite up there with my favorite exclusives on the system.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Tried Spyro recently... didn’t really grab me. Seemed like a fine game and all, and I don’t regret purchasing by any means, but I wouldn’t say it’s in my top list. Which was actually surprising because I genuinely thought I was going to fall in love with it. It could also be partly due to the fact platformer‘s have been grabbing me less and less with each passing year. Nothing has repeated the magic of Rayman Legends, New Super Mario Bros U and DKC Tropical Freeze back in the U era. Tropical Freeze on Switch still kept me glued for a second playthrough, and I suppose Mario Odyssey had that magic, but aside from that it just seems they’ve been getting less interesting over the years.

Look through the official thread for the game, @NintendoByNature.... Quite a few here were also new and there's general tips from those who had played it before
@JaxonH Man, I wish I'd caught that, they sold out already. Wonder why they discounted it so heavily with so little stock... It's not even a month old, wouldn't you want it on hand?|
EDIT: And it's out of stock in my state for Target and GameStop too? Weird. Only Best Buy still has stock it seems.
Man, both Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light on Switch? Feels like every month we're getting more games I thought would never ever be on a Nintendo console when they launched.
I'm wondering if they'll release some sort of Deus Ex remaster soon tbh, looking around at what might come next. The original game never made it to Xbox, and the second never made it to Playstation, so there's a good amount of market they could tap by rereleasing both as a collection. Human Revolution too of course would be nice, while Mankind Divided feels like it'd have to come on it's own.
Happy new year everyone. What are all your gaming New Years resolutions? Mine is to try and not keep buying games every time I see a sale is on. Yesterday I purchased 8 more games in the Xbox sale. And then before that, 9 games in the PlayStation sale. And that is on top of my overflowing back catalogue which I haven't even started. I think I have games dating back to the beginning of the generation to still play.

I will get hiatus for a while from purchasing Switch games on early 2020 since i have PS3 Slim on December 2019 and i want to expand my PS3 games and also PSP games.
@JaxonH Dood, have you experienced any issues using gyro in Black Flag? I swear it’s like my Lite is ‘stuck’ or something for the up/down axis. Lateral aiming isn’t different. I’ve done calibration, restarted and shutdown power, but no dice.
