Ok monolithsoft, give me ports of xenoblade 1 and chronicles please (even though the latter would be a CHORE without the gamepad ).

No desire for a port of the Xenosaga trilogy? I'd prefer that over Xenoblade 1 considering I have it on 3DS. Xenoblade X though? A Switch port would be appreciated.
Better yet, imagine if Square Enix sold the Xenogears rights to Takahashi.
Xenogears remake, anyone?
Switch Physical Collection - 1,560 games (as of April 14th, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
Anything Xeno would be amazing, I missed out on all the old games due to not having a PlayStation, but I'd love to play gears or the saga games. XCX would be appreciated as well, while XC1 isn't really needed right now.
Edit: Oh wow, I forgot about the new IP. So we know the following now:
1. Their Kyoto office is assisting with a Zelda game, given they helped with BotW we can reasonably assume they're working on BotW2.
2. One of the other offices is/was working on the new IP Medievel Action game as of 2017.
3. Another office is working on a 'third option' game.
4. A fourth office is working on the next Xenoblade game
5. A fifth office was just recently opened.
If we don't see something from Monolith Soft today, I'll be very surprised. They likely have 4 unannounced titles in the works now, that's a lot.
I'm trying not to hype myself for the Direct because (a) it leads to trouble and (b) I've spent way too much this summer on DS, Wii and Switch games, with many Switch games still on the 'To get' list, to justifiably begin to think of future releases, and yet... it's just unnatural not to hype for a Direct, so with that in mind I'll take a GTA Trilogy Remaster, GTA5, and Halo MCC thanks muchly.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Hype levels continue to rise with each passing hour, it's excruciating. As a fan of Switch ports of older games, the well that publishers could draw from is deep. Some folks complain about older games being brought back. Not me. I would be more excited for announcements of Radiant Silvergun or the 8-bit Adventure Anthology over the Luigi's Mansion 3 and Pokemon S/S info we're about to be spoon fed.

As for NSO, given the impending anniversary, and the recent end to Splatoon 2 updates, I couldn't help myself from wondering whether Nintendo were considering something cheeky like releasing a free-to-play Splatoon game exclusive to NSO.

My heart will stop beating if i saw The Sims 4 logo from Nintendo Direct.
I will died two times if Dance Dance Revolution also announced for Nintendo Switch.

The lack of context for that post thanks to the page break is great. So wait, this is a remaster, not a new game then (re: Puzzle Quest)? Not that I've played it anyways.
If there is to be one big surprise left for this year I reckon it's certain to be Mario and at such short notice, a port or remaster. A port of Super Mario 3D World wouldn't generate as much hype as a remaster of Sunshine or Galaxy 1&2. I'm hoping for the latter.
An HD Galaxy dual re-release would be absolutely amazing. 3D World would be awesome, too, but I personally hope we get the Galaxies remastered at some point.
