Is it confirmed Xeno2's resolution in handheld has not received an update?
The last time I checked the game looked much better than before in handheld mode.
Does it maybe change to high-res mode outside of the cities?
I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that most games out there could be improved visually with more detailed textures and effects without needing a resolution bump to appreciate them.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@NintendoPete No. All we know is that it's not coming this year.
A Switch version hasn't been confirmed either by the way.
that's what I thought - but it is strange because this retailer is usually up to date. Having said that, I haven't ordered anything from that site for a long time. Maybe something changed
@NintendoPete The Switch listing is almost certainly based on the rumour going around last year, which has since been proved to be false. Don't expect this game to ever come to Switch.

You never know... but I am not waiting - never played the first one - even though I bought a used copy of the Gamecube version O.o Tried it out and didn't really like what I've played. Have to admit that I played for only 20 min and didn't give it a fair chance.
That being said, the version of Unreal Engine 4 that supports the Switch is actually a version that’s higher than what Dragon Quest XI was built on, so that means we need to upgrade the engine and that comes with a slew of issues.
Behold - Nintendo is using middleware that is current, as opposed to outdated (Which developers used to complain about) and Epic Games (The developers of Unreal) are not obligated nor inclined to add support for a system into an older version of an engine, nor is ANY middleware developer.
Yet people still blame the Switch for this?

@Spoony_Tech Aaannnndddd that's where I draw the line.
I dont know how much changed between UE4.whatever Square is using and UE4.11 that introduced Switch support in MAY 2017!!!!, as I only used 4.10 and onwards, but it's not as drastic as going from UE4 to a hypothetical UE5, for instance. Things change between iterations yes, usually some modifications to workflow or some features, but nothing that demands the game be REBUILT!

@Tsurii I kept saying, Square is having issues because its an older version of UE4, which makes no sense as when Nintendo NOW does something current, its a problem, but if its not current, its a problem, but because it's also something Epic would have told them about most likely before the public release of UE4.11 in May 2017.
Plus, up-porting a game, whatever changes were made, is most likely not that hard, but again, it's SquareEnix, lord knows you can't expect them organise a party in a brewery.

All From_SOftware is saying is "Various Reasons" which is as non-specific as you can get.
People were playing it at PAX. You were saying, hey, its coming May 25th, look how well it runs. People were coming away impressed...and now this? WHY?

Maybe the paid online service is the cause of the delay? After all, with some definitions of Summer most of September counts as Summer and Dark Souls Remastered has online multiplayer.
