But thanks for the info. The PS4 is full of little niceties like that. And some not so nice i admit but atill. Good to know its not as terribad.

@BLP_Software Well, diwdiws already explained it. Also my games just pause when you open the share menu. Uncharted 4 does it at least, I just tested it.

@Octane Crash didnt at one point which was weird. Like really weird. It did that time though.

@JaxonH I imagine VC for Splatoon really translates to RM and TC. TW and SZ are really self explanatory in goals and there's little to coordinate. I'm not a chat person myself, but just observing, I'd think that's where it matters more to the competitively minded. Argh, I can't believe I'm going to miss out on this game by one darned week. T-Mo, EffU!

@Maxz LOL, well, it's an improvement from COD, at least when random 12 year olds are screaming obscenities at you you think they're saying nice things because you don't know any better I suspect ともこwould just say a pleasant "Please Understand" and hit the mute button.

The Splatoon 2 Pro controller is definitely a lot better looking than the original Pro controller IMO. Almost makes me wish I had waited to buy one. Guess I'll just have to wait until I actually need another Pro controller, assuming that ever happens. Skip to 4:18 to see them side by side.

At least we don't have to pay yet with Nintendo's app. A good 6 months should give them plenty of time to iron out the kinks.

Do you guys think it would be too late to pre-order Splatoon 2 from Wal-Mart? I have no experience with pre-ordering, so I figured I'd ask.

Also, is it a "walk in the store and pick it up" based thing, or is it shipped to you?

@KirbyTheVampire Do you need to pre-order? It will be available at any store you go to tomorrow. I doubt it will sell out everywhere. I usually just walk into Best Buy the day off and they have dozens of copies.

@Spoony_Tech I'm not sure it will be. My Wal-Mart is pretty small, and they didn't have MK8D when it first came out. Maybe that was just a one time thing, though, or maybe it sold out before I got there.

You can preorder a day in advance, @KirbyTheVampire. At least, I think so...

@KirbyTheVampire Is it a 24 hour Wal-Mart? Most around here are and probably went on sale at midnight. I walked into Best Buy the day of and they had still well over 50 copies of Deluxe but then again I live in a heavily populated area.

@Spoony_Tech No, it's not. I also live in a small town, so there doesn't tend to be a huge number of any game there.

I'm almost leaning towards it being a case of MK8D just not being there on time rather than it selling out, because I had no problems walking in on the Switch launch day and buying a Switch, Zelda, a Pro controller, and a carrying case, even though I showed up late in the afternoon.

@KirbyTheVampire Doesn't hurt to call and see. You should be able to pre-order then ship to the store of which they would save a copy.

@KirbyTheVampire Are your pre-orders the kind where you have to pay to pre-order a game? Otherwise there's no harm in pre-ordering, right?
