@JaxonH I'm curious to hear your results! I already bought the Taurus X6 Pro, so I'm probably stuck with it (I assumed the attention on QC3 meant PD as well, and wasn't aware of PD specifically. I seriously wish standards were actually standards at this point....USB 3.1 rev 2.0 says "hi".)
And it probably will be fine, I imagine I'll run out of power, play with it plugged into the battery, and that will probably run out my time and it'll stay on the battery until I'm home and tossing it on the dock anyway, so despite being "better" my usage model might not really differ between the speed of USB-C and PD anyway. OTOH I like the idea of MATCHING Nintendo's own power input from their own AC, simply because it uses the Switch and charges it more in line with the official specs.
Also My X6 pro is MASSIVE so if I wanted something smaller, that might be where I'd look. Really the thing is almost the size of the Switch (not as long but only slightly narrower and a bit thicker) and weighs as much as a WiiU power brick It's amazing how much power it holds (it could probably run Zelda for 20 hours non-stop, or, you know, charge headphones, phone, portable hot spot and obscene prices for Splatoon.. You know, mission-critical things. )
handheld almost exclusively , so easy to just grab it and play regardless if I am laying on the couch, my bed, in a room without a TV
once the weather gets nice in my back yard, etc etc
Activision need to get COD WW2 on the Switch. I'm not a massive fan of the series but can you imagine a LAN party playing that game with 8 mates all with their own screen. That's where the magic happens.
Think those decisions would come from Activision, not the developer. If Activision decides to support Switch, they'll pay and contract the job out to another developer for a Switch port. If not, then we won't see the game.
And I'm thinking Activision, along with EA and WB, will be very gunshy about putting mature games on the system. Ubisoft will put a couple- Assassins Creed and Beyond Good & Evil 2, but the others will likely stick with Skylanders and sports and other "general audience" games.
They'll ride out the first holiday season and see how Skyrim sells, how NBA 2K18 and FIFA sell, how Assassins Creed sells (trust me it's coming, mark my words), and any other ports that may release we don't know of. If they do well, we can expect to see those types of games a little more often, but even then, it'll take years of good sales with mature/core games or a massive user base to get anything beyond skin deep from these mega-publishers.

Ya know, I really enjoyed Black Ops II. But now, after experiencing the last 5 or so years of annual releases (I had just gotten back into gaming when CoD BO2 released) I feel the fatigue. Titanfall 2 was spectacular though. And (screw what anyone says) Halo 5 and MC Collection were some of the best FPS releases I've ever purchased.
But... those FPS just aren't exciting me. Haven't for a while. Need to see a Switch release. That would be just the thing to spice it up for me. Something about having games on TV and handheld and everywhere in between just makes them more appealing. I'd play CoD again if it came to Switch. If not... well, I'll probably pass.

@JaxonH Yeah, I feel ya. I probably wouldn't buy a CoD every year, especially the last few games. Still, I bought Battlefield 1 and have had a lot of fun with it, and I also had a good time years ago with CoD World at War and Black Ops, so I'm pretty excited for this game. It's about time the series went back to its roots. Still, I'm not sure if I'll buy it if it doesn't have a good zombie mode, considering I just bought Battlefield 1, and the two games are likely to be pretty similar.
I personally wouldn't care for a Switch release that much because I don't see myself playing online games on the go at all, but I can see how people who do would really enjoy a Switch version. Plus, the more big third party games, the better.
I really do not expect to see this year's CoD on the Switch. This is still early, guys. Even the Wii U sold pretty well during its first month. The bigger third parties are still going to wait a bit to see how things pan out.
I'm not so sure that a lot of 3rd parties aren't already starting to scramble and get games together. They also read the reports about Switch sales projections and don't want to be left behind. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit more from 3rd parties at E3 this year.
Part of the reason the Wii U had so much 3rd party support out the gate(at least for Nintendo) is because 3rd parties were late to the Wii party and missed out on money. They didn't want to risk being left behind again a second generation. Can't blame them for being sceptical with the Switch but a lot of signs are pointing to good success for the Switch early on way more so then the Wii U. I don't think the Wii U was ever received well by anyone except Nintendo fans.
@Spoony_Tech
I think third parties will wait a couple of months to see how the Switch sales continue, after the Wii U had two great months and then went down like a brick. If around June or July the Switch keeps selling like hot cakes, they'll definitively get on board for the second half of the year, aiming for the holiday season.
That the Switch has had a better reception than the Wii U is a step forward, but as you say, we can't blame them for being sceptical. The Wii U burned too many people.

The Wii U didn't really struggle with third parties in that first year. Sure the Switch is, performance wise, a harder sell for third parties than the Wii U was. But it's also a simpler system to develop for and it has been clearly more hyped than the Wii U since the first trailer.
I do agree that we shouldn't expect the floodgates to open. But series that appear on everything? I'd personally be surprised if we didn't see games like CoD on Switch this year. It is getting FIFA and NBA2K
@Luna_110 Ahh, but if the Switch is to get the bigger AAA games in the 2nd half of the year, those 3rd parties need to get on board now. If they get on board during the second half of the year, then we won't really see the results until spring 2018.
How I could see the CoD situation working out is this. Activision announces at some point that Modern Warfare Remastered is no longer exclusive to the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of Infinite Warfare (for Activision each new CoD game has a lifespan of a year so it makes sense to make Modern Warfare Remastered standalone in fall/winter 2017), Switch gets Modern Warfare Remastered at the same time it's standalone for other platforms but doesn't get WWII.
