Nah, there aren't even many spoilers. Just a few items leaked, and only a few of what's in the game at that.
I'd say that the boot screen tapestry with Calamity Ganon and actual Ganon (OoT styled, and also leading an army of Guardians) squaring off against each other is the largest thing we've gotten so far. It's more confusing rather than spoiler-y though.

Or it's not Ooopsy Daisy Ganon, it's a good guy dragon from the Japanese ad defending Hyrule from Ganon and the Guardians. I think the Dark Link, Fierce Deity etc skins are more intresting and I wonder how much more fan service is in the game

Seems unlikely, since it has a sort of pig nose and is all whispy just like ghostly uh-oh Ganon. Still possible though, so you might be right. The Guardians are Sheikah Technology though, and aren't related to the Calamity Ganon. They were a defense against it. Seems like the Sheikah turned on Hyrule at the last minute and started attacking Hyrule after sealing Ganon when he attempts to escape. We even see a Sheikah warrior acting full on aggressive towards Link, attacking him in the trailer as an enemy.
I think what happened was the Sheikah tried to stop C. Ganon by using their tech, but instead, C.G ended up actually corrupting their stuff and causing it to turn against them. I'm guessing that's why the Guardians glow purplish, instead of blue like the ones in the Shrines.
@-Green- Makes sense. Though Zelda lore has increasingly painted the Sheikah as a shady, bloody group of people, and their symbol often appears in places less than innocent. Sheikah technology also shares similar patterns to Twili technology, and the Fused Sadow has the Sheikah symbol on the back. We also know that Kakriko village used to be home to a lot of Sheikah, but for reasons unknown they all disappeared. Implication is that Hyrule's "bloody past", as mentioned in the Shadow Temple, has something to do with theur disappearance. Seems like they were the interlopers that were banishes.
Did anyone have their amazon special editions cancelled? My special edition, without the sword, seems to be okay
But I'm nervous now. I don't want to receive a switch with no games to play on it.
@Tarvaax I think the main implication behind that is that the Sheikah, despite being protectors of the Royal Family, also have a dark side. Which could also further explain why the Sheikah seem to be split into two factions in this game.
@Dezzy To be fair, my theory may very well be true considering that there is a quote on the back of the Master Collection map which may imply this, when taking into the picture as well. I just thought it be safe to cover it for those who didn't want to see it.
Here's the quote by the way: " Hylians pass stories of a destined time long past where multiple races lived and worked together in harmony. The Sheikah Tribe's blue aura breathed through the land and this mutual prosperity continued until a cataclysmic disaster stuck. The Hero and the Princess attempted to seal the terror which became known as the Calamity Ganon. Divine beasts awoke from four directions and deployed a mechanical army which made the King and his people fearful. They fractured Ganon's power and sealed him but the Sheikah were banished from the land ever since."
So is there any chance other amiibo like Sheik will unlock something in the game? I feel like they really should. Part of the appeal of buying amiibo is the possibility of compatibility with future games...
I canceled my Special Edition.... I decided that most of the collector stuff was useless to me, and the things I cared about (the CD and the case) weren't worth the extra amount.
I find the case ugly, and prefer one of the official licensed cases, and I'll wait to see if they release an official soundtrack.
I've seen the news about Amazon cancelling some Master editions in the US, hope none of you get your order cancelled!
Stupid question, have the Smash Amiibo of Link, Zelda, Toon Link etc been comfirmed to work with BOTW?
Yeah, these have all been confirmed to work. (Not quite sure what function any of the amiibos wil serve though in this game, so will have to wait and see! At least there will be something that will still be a nice surpirse! (...well, if they turn out to be useful)
Seems A LOT OF HUGE spoilers came into the internet today. Even the timeline placement. Okay, from now i'll just watch for this forum since spoilers are banished (talking about YT since video with spoilers is there) I don't wanna know anything of this!
