I can't understand the love for Spirit Tracks. Blowing into the mic every 5 minutes isn't fun at all. Blowing into the mic while trying to swipe the screen? Agh!

I actually loved that gimmick. Reminded me of actually trying and failing at playing any instrument. The last one during the final battle is by far one of my favorite moments of any Zelda game

If you don't want major spoilers, don't look at the NoA twitter account.

@Grumblevolcano Thanks for the warning. I'll add it to my 'Figure out what the heck that was after release' list, haha.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

Seeing various game journalists with their switch boxes, peripherals, and amiibo all sent to them by Nintendo give me twangs of jealousy.

But on the bright side I don't have to analyze all the details of games or hardware I play, and can just immerse myself mindlessly. So I don't envy them for needing to do that for our benefit.

@Operative2-0 The flute mechanic stopped me playing after a few hours. ST is the only Zelda game I haven't wanted to continue due to frustration. However, I have the VC version on the Wii U - maybe the DS version is easier to play? Trying to blow and swipe on the GamePad was a chore.

@Grumblevolcano Talk about dangle a carrot! I never look at NoA's Twitter but now I really want to...

It's just Tingle in a submarine of sorts.

I don't recall him being quite so furry.

Maybe this has been asked before, but all the pictures and videos of press getting their switch review kits made me wonder if the WiiU version of BOTW will be getting reviewed pre launch.

I only care because if there are significant performance issues then I can hold off for a while until I feel like getting a switch. But if it isn't too big a difference then I'll get it on WiiU when I can still use the prime discount. Anyone read anything from any reviewers if they have both versions?

Sadly it is not tingle in a submarine

Awww. Yeah. I'm not quite certain whether to be thankful of that being the case, though.

Man, just watched that Zelda trailer from the Switch presentation again...

Any time a 3 minute trailer can give me goosebumps, I know it's something grand.

I honestly think Zelda Breath of the Wild has a very good chance at cracking top spot for greatest video game ever made. That's certainly my expectations at this point. If Zelda Breath of the Wild turns out to be the next Ocarina of Time- a masterpiece for the modern age, which I think it might, then Nintendo will have given people the best possible reason to buy into Switch as they feasibly could have.

Basically, if this game isn't worth buying a console for... nothing is (and there's a lot of people who didn't own a Wii U, so if this doesn't sell people on coming back to Nintendo, then I genuinely believe nothing ever will)

Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced

@Monkey_Balls I will admit, I may be one of the few train enthusiasts, but the pan flute was one of the worst ideas ever. It's effectiveness depends highly on which of the many DS/3DS variations you had, but chances are, you still had trouble. People aren't usually very good at ensuring their air stream lands right into a hole tinier than a snowflake. Not even me, and I'm a professional wind-instrument player. And even if you wanted to try and free-style on the thing, you couldn't without accidentally setting off that stupid two-note song that didn't do much in the game anyway.

Got married.

@JaxonH Ocarina of Time was the first big popular 3D adventure game. BOTW is one of many open world games that release this year. Whether it's really good or not, I don't think another Zelda game will have the same impact as OOT.

@Octane
Maybe not in terms of doing something that's never been done, but in terms of being a pristine game... a timeless masterpiece.

And timeless masterpieces are long remembered, whether they reinvented the wheel or not

Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions

No, he's lying. It's just confirming Cia as the true villain. She destroyed Hyrule with her obsessive fangirlness.
