The only good thing about this game getting potentially delayed past March is that it might hit around June time, which is usually completely dead in the AAA world, so it'll be the only thing anyone talks about.

@Dezzy Except it'll be the only thing anyone talks about for a good two weeks whenever it releases. I mean, probably a bad idea to put it up against CoD or AC, but still, June is a bad date.

@Haru17 Yeah, June would be bad for BotW because E3 especially if released late June and hence Nintendo decides to spend another E3 with a full day of BotW.

If it's not a launch title then it needs to be released before June.

You start with puzzles, lead into weather effects, amiibo, and how you could not buy this now, but sometime-maybe buy it somewhere else? Totally fake.

Also, why is the "OUT MAR 2017" sign snow-capped? I'll tell you why: someone photoshopped another sign that originally said OUT DEC 2017 or something.

Most of March is still during winter, in the northern hemisphere that is.

So it's not entirely wrong.

@Meowpheel: I guess... it still looks more like a holiday design, though.

I would guess that this is some store's attempt at getting early deposits on the game, and that the March release date has been assumed due to the Switch releasing in March.

I have about as much trust in that poster being genuine as I do in these various rumour people.

I suspect a lot of this is just media people trying to build a bigger following.

First of all that poster look like it was made in 10 minutes in MS Paint. Secondly, why would the adverts mention shrine and trials locations? That's not really generic ad-speak you aim at the public. That's insider lingo for people who already know about it.

Yeah, I'm not putting any stock into that poster. We'll have to wait until January for confirmation or denial of the theory that it's not launching alongside switch. Which isn't too long thankfully

Target now has this game listed for June 13th. That sure is interesting, isn't it?

Isn't 13th around E3? If they were gonna do it in June, about a week after E3 would be best. With the final trailer at E3.
