@Meowpheel I'd be down for that. Some kind of seismic bow? Sick!
Anyway, I expect they'll do it like the Tales of Zesteria anime (not sure about the game). Basically, magical tornadoes manifested demon guardians, one of them the humanoid main antagonist.
That could work perfectly for Mr. Dark Cloud. My dream for the final boss battle is that, once players reach the boss room (the open spire that overlooks the land), they fight Ganondorf in the marble-paved room Puppet Zelda-style. After that phase, Ganondorf would cast out a wave of dark energy and summon a gale. Players would then have to climb and navigate over rocks rotating around in the tornado while Ganondorf stands on another rock, and line up a shot despite the winds.
Then, if the winds abruptly dispersed and casted Link and Ganondorf out into Hyrule Field to fight on horseback, it would be perfect. No idea what his monstrous Ganon form would look like, though. Hopefully it's more interesting than the moblin we've already seen.
I had not seen the gameplay trailer from last month until now. I was sliiiightly worried, but ok I'm hyped now. Which is sadly(?) rare nowadays.
God I hope the Wii U version doesn't have too many issues. I don't think it will since Nintendo isn't Bethesda and it's been delayed forever but it's either Wii U version or nothing right now.

Given that for most of its 5 year dev cycle they were targeting the Wii U, seems unlikely it'll be some kind of terrible version, like the Watch Dogs port or something.
Do we even know if the Switch home-version gives extra power to the console? Cos I doubt the handheld thing will outpace the Wii U.
Delaying this past March would really annoy me. You've had enough time on it Nintendo!
I think it's important to remember the game is more is less completely finished, aside from localisation. I also think it's safe to say that the change of release date is to give Mario the limelight at the Switch launch. As Nintendo Life recently reported, the announcement of Super Mario Run's release date and pricing saw Nintendo's stocks rise over 5%. They have recognised the success of Pokemon GO boosted pre-order sales for SuMo, and are probably hoping for the same sort of boost for the 3D Mario title. Not only will it help software sales for the title, but it will more than likely improve hardware sales of the Switch. Remember the 300% increase in 3DS sales after Pokemon GO launched? Nintendo are hoping to create that again with Super Mario Run, the 3D Mario title, and the Switch.
@Dezzy In theory, yes, it should be able to run the game better than the Wii U. Now, it's undoubtedly underclocked when in handheld mode, the question is, how much? Probably enough to run the same games but in a lower resolution. So while you may be playing the Wii U version in 1080p, the Switch version may have better AA and a greater render distance, but the handheld will run that game in 720p and the TV experience will be in 1080p.
I don't think it technically counts as a delay if they don't launch with the switch. As far as I remember, they always just said 2017, not that it was launching with the switch.
Either way, I hope we don't gotta wait much longer after the switch release if the reports are accurate
@Operative I genuinely thought that the only thing holding the game back at this point was the Switch launch. I'm kinda surprised that it's still not finished by March. Don't get me wrong, finish the game please, and take the time you need. But that's a pretty screwed up reveal then. We've known about this game since when? Three years ago if I'm not mistaken?
@Octane I agree. It's especially weird when they dedicated an entire E3 to it. It's weird to think that it probably won't be out by next E3. Though I suppose it spoke more to them having absolutely nothing else to show for the wii u a year ago rather than how far along Zelda was.
It's definitely a big bummer though. As much as I'm excited for a new Mario, Zelda has been announced and delayed again and again for years. It's especially sad when you remember they swore it was gonna be done in 2015 :/
