Oh look. I single-handedly sparked a conversation here in this thread. I deserve the medals.
Either way, I guess there'll be more metal in Zelda U because... more futuristic stuff?
@meowpheel thanks for reminding me about all the metal stuff in the game. But how are we so sure they're made of metal? The Hylian shield might as well be made of the material that a green Rupee is made of.

How do you know rupees aren't made out of metal.

Is Eiji Anouma even gonna show his face at the Treehouse when the game gets played? This isn't even a real show/Direct, right? Everything is live..... "Hey, guys! We got a special treat for you today! We got the name for Zelda Wii U/NX and we're gonna try our best not to spoil the game!" I just imagine people from the crowd saying, "Yeah, yeah... where's the NX version? The NX version looks better and runs better, right?"

Won't it have to be another Aonuma / Miyamoto stream? It's too high profile to leave to two random white dudes from Treehouse.

I expect it to be highly rehearsed as well.

I was under the impression it would just be some people I can't ever remember the names of from the Treehouse doing an awkward unscripted playthrough of the game for a few hours with no trailer, like in past E3's. I actually hope I'm wrong.

I'll be kinda pissed if we don't get at least one good Zelda U trailer. To either start or finish off the Zelda stream.

@Haru17 Yeah, I'm pretty sure a Zelda U trailer is imminent. They won't just start the Treehouse streaming without giving us a trailer.
P.S. I don't have time to check past Treehouse gameplays and see whether the trailer for the particular game was played... but yeah, I'm very sure we'll see a Zelda U trailer come next week.

That new piece of artwork of Link from Zelda U looks awesome. But too bad they made him right handed.

I'll gladly take a Nintendo Direct focusing just on Zelda than Nintendo Treehouse focusing on Zelda.

Fun fact: Zelda is not made by white people. Might wanna get some of the people who actually made the game on stream.

I'd rather have a 15 minute section of Aonuma walking us through the game than watching an hour of terrible commentary from the Treehouse; they're just not funny.

I wonder whose actually gonna be the first person at Treehouse to reveal the name of Zelda? Let it be Aonuma. Not Reggie. Or some employeee.
