@ReeLongbow Excuse you? I was on topic and not addressing you. If my "babbling" bothers you so feel free to ignore it next time.

@Ryu_Niiyama You keep blabbing on about nonsense that has nothing to do with what i was talking about or the topic. Who cares about the lore of old games, we was discussing breath of the wild game mechanics and weapons. C'mon get off the nerd drugs.
@ReeLongbow Yeesh. @Ryu_Niiyama is still talking about the game. Don't yell at her just because she isn't talking about what you want to talk about. We're all nerds here.
@ReeLongbow I'm going to reply to this once and leave it alone because quite frankly you aren't worth my time. I'll break it up so you can follow along since you seem to be having issues with that.
A) I was responding to someone else in the thread (please use basic reading comprehension skills as they would have saved you some embarrassment). B) That person was talking about BOTW and its lore and my response was speaking directly to that, thus on topic. C) This thread isn't about you. D) You ain't a mod, so next time you want to dictate to me have a star by your avatar. E) If you thought for one second that being rude when you were in the wrong was going to garner you anything other than a hostile response you may want to check your expectations of reality...as they are quite off.
TLDR: You derailed the thread not I. I'm done here, shoo fly, don't bother me. Have a nice day.
@GameOtaku Congrats on your new purchase (excuse the housecleaning above)! Prepare to watch hours of your life disappear before your very eyes.

So, I don't know about you guys, but while I haven't beaten the game yet (so no spoilers please!), I noticed something a bit strange about BotW compared to other previous Zelda games in terms of difficulty. It certainly is tougher than the more recent Zelda games in the beginning (which has been noted quite a bit), but I feel like towards the end the game actually becomes EASIER than previous Zelda games. Even facing a White-maned Lynel, the toughest field enemy of the game without DLC, has become pretty easy to me. What do you guys feel about this? When I get a Switch and buy BotW on it, I'll be sure to play Master Mode, that may solve some of the difficulty concerns.
@shadow-wolf Honestly I feel that half of the difficulty of BOTW is learning the fighting system. The majority of attacks can be parried for instance so I feel that the game keeps the same difficulty (over all since you are fighting the same enemies except damage sponges) and you improve making it easier. I went from running from Guardians to hunting them for parts after I learned the parry timing.

@Ryu_Niiyama Yeah that is very true. I actually haven't gotten good at parrying with either the sword or shield, but I have gotten really good at those dodges that slow down time and allow you to hit an enemy repeatedly (forgot what those are called). Though just curious, how does parrying help you fight Guardians? Guardians in my experience use their blue laser, I didn't know there was a way to parry that.
@Meowpheel Now you've made me curious. I always ran away from lasers just before they shot them to avoid them, or shot the Guardian in its eye for buying some time. I guess I'll check out parrying in more detail when I get a chance. I do wish you could redo shrines though, I'd like to redo the Kakariko Village shrine to review some of those parrying techniques
@shadow-wolf Well look at it this way: if the Guardian blast can turn link into a charcoal briquette imagine what happens if the Guardians have their own power turned against them?
It's good to just work on parrying and dodging in the open world as the timing window is a little different based upon what you are fighting. Keep at it, you'll get it.
