@Meowpheel It's in the south of the village I think. I talked to one of the children and they took me there, a little weirdo with glasses I recall. It's literally just outside of the village though, you can't miss it. As soon as you enter, turn right somewhere.
@Tsurii Phew. I've done it, after quite a few attempts. My weapon on choice was a Lynel Bow with quick fire, which basically meant I didn't have to aim, and even when I missed, I could shoot another arrow shortly after. I had another go after getting above 20 to see if I could get them all, and 25 got me another piece of horse gear (although I'm not sure if simply getting another 20 would have been sufficient). Pro Tip: Hitting the final big balloon with a bomb arrow gets you five-for-one shot. So providing you can get to the end, you should only have to get 15 along the course. And also, the horse steers itself along the path, so you don't have to touch the joy stick.
Have you done the obstacle course at the stable? It's less likely to have you pulling your hair out, and nets you some pretty fabulous horse gear.
I managed to save 2 divine beasts and reach the Korok Forrest which got quite frustrating at times. I have to say it's sad that the other champions didn't survive the battle 100 years ago. The missions for those were real fun, I can't wait to do the other two.

OMG OMG OMG:i did all inside the Lost Woods, even the 5 riddles, and i was able to get the MASTER SWORD!! OMG it was so epic and fantastic!! It seems the sword is stronger against Ganon's creatures and it has a sort of cooldown when it brakes. That is really a nice thing!! Can't wait starting swinging it!!
Yup, it's cool until you get better weapons
Ah, my favorite Zelda staple. Mortal weapons that somehow do more damage than a divine weapon.
Does anyone remember that one of the trailers had a giant who was bigger than the hills casualy walking around, is that actually in the game?
The one in the E3 trailer? Yep, I didn't find it in the same spot as shown there though, and definitely temper your expectations. It wasn't a Shadow of the Colossus joint, that's just your memory.
50 hours in and still not strong enough to King Arthur yet. 100 years of sleep wrecks you. Also do Guardians regenerate during the blood moon? Been hunting for some to harvest and no luck so far.
Edit: Ugh what is with all these typos lately? I guess four hours isn't enough sleep. I'm going to bed. Night y'all.

I'm a Dream Fighter. Perfume is Love, Perfume is Life.
He and the quest log say "someone in the citadel will be able to tell you more about it".
So far no luck, the only person there who gets close is the archeologist who starts the 7 heroines quest, but she's stuck in her same old post-quest dialogue.
Final Beast sorted. The Rito one was definitely shorter and simpler than the others, but it was still really good. They've all been really, really good. Amazingly inventive and structurally masterful. Windblight was cool, but being the last of the four, was pretty quick to dispatch. I kind of regret eating my Mighty Salted Crab dish now, as it would have been nice to savour the battle.
Tomorrow, the Master Sword, then maybe the memories, then Ganon. The main route through this game is so good I'm starting to wonder if I should have taken a slightly more direct path through it. It feels best when you have a path to deviate from, as opposed to when you're just walking without a path what-so-ever. But damn there's so much good stuff. I'm still chuckling about the Yiga Clan section.
Phew. Anyway, Hyrule will not have to wait much longer. Probably.
I rarely use horses as I find it impractical - not only do they hinder exploration, but you have to look after them. Or so I thought... I discovered today that if you leave one out in the wild it somehow makes its way back to a stable. I had left poor old Lucky on some mountain near Kakariko Village (about 15 hours ago) but was able to retrieve him from a stable near Gerudo Desert; I thought it might be a glitch at first because it basically says "Your horse isn't here but you can take it anyway". Those stable guys are efficient. It's handy for when you want to dump your steed somewhere and go off exploring. I wish I knew that sooner; I'll probably use them more now.
Haha, @Monkey_Balls Box Tale gave me a chuckle as well.
@Maxz Ha, it was a good example of how unexpected and rewarding this game can be. I'm 100+ hours in and still being surprised. By the way, the trout you seek can be found in Great Hyrule Forest (Lake Mekar and Lake Saria in particular). I got about 30 from there on my first visit. Wish we had a proper fishing game though...
are you talking about those sparkly clouds of bugs? I feel like those might be Korok related but I have no idea what you are even supposed to do with them if they are...
Yeah, the fake clouds of dragonflies bugged me too. Like the little white bugs, they're only an effect that fades as you get closer, not actual NPCs and items.
@Tsurii@Octane@Haru17 Y'all might want to be taking a second look (I hope you remember where you've seen them!)...
@Meowpheel Regarding the 8th-heroine quest, the person you need is running laps around the outside of Gerudo town. Make sure you're wearing girly stuff.
I already talked to that person, he's the one who starts the quest. But the game wants me to talk to someone else inside the citadel to get information on where to find the heroine.
@Meowpheel Ah, right. The game prompts you to find someone who knows about the 7 heroines - she doesn't know about the 8th. I think this is set up so that when you attempt the 7-heroines quest you then know what they look like (and what to look for). You can see their icons on the map - that should help you find the 8th.
Yesterday I was thinking about taking on one of the dungeons, but somehow I ended up on safula hill... and I have no idea how. This game has a tendency to distract me something awful.
@Octane@Tsurii Wait, what oracle in Gerudo Town? I've just ran all over it and can't find one - where is she? What's her name? Does that mean I did that quest wrong? Too many questions! Ha, I took ages on that quest and ended up just looking for it on the map after doing the 7-heroines quest. Quite often this game just hints at stuff so I figured that was the right thing to do.
Tsurii: Nope, you weren't being paranoid about those shimmery cloud things. However, I haven't worked out what to do with all of them yet. Some are easy; others, not so. It seems they have different requirements (unless I'm also doing that wrong).
