I think I'm mostly done with the game at this point. I think I'm just gonna go on a rabbit hunt for the last shrines for the good ending (which I already saw). Overall, I feel I'm in a good enough position to say that I've enjoyed the game.

You beat the game in one week?

There's a different ending available? Why didn't I know that. Can someone explain.

@Rexcalibr Have you explored in all directions on The Great Plateau? Just do that and keep looking around and you'll find them. Some are amidst adverse conditions.

@Dezzy Out of curiosity, does it show all the Korok Seed locations? That may be useful for finding the remaining billion, once I'm done with everything else.

That can be a sign of overheating.

I bet that's what the "new map feature" will be in the DLC.

So: Finally totally finished East Necluda. Got the climbing boots from one of the 2 Shrines that i was left there. Got the Champion's Tunic (the blue one, finally i can see monster's health!) from Impa after the first memory. Got the second one (crying Zelda one, number 16th just after Ganon's Awakening, and that clip is AWESOME). Bought second stamina upgrade and now i'm one Shrine away from 7th Hearth. Started the Zora Domain. After doing some Shrines there i finally reached the tower and saved there. When i'll turn on i'll go to the Zora Village, explore it and then start fully exploring that zone.

Any hidden treasures or other important stuff to find before leaving the great plateau?

You can port back there at any time. Just go wherever looks most intriguing. They really open up the game after you complete that fourth shrine.

Well I know that, just wondering if there was something that can help down below (better weapons, armour etc).

Therad

Octane

@Therad No armour. Maybe a better weapon, but since they will break at some point any way, you won't won't be missing anything important in the end.

Getting the cold-resistant clothing is quite helpful. Most people get it normally anyway but you can do it without.

So I was travelling by air earlier this week and ended up waiting a few hours at the gate. I saw a wall plug so I plugged my Wii U in and used the screen to play BotW. Then a cute girl walked up and started talking to me about how great Zelda is. Who needs a Switch, eh?

I wonder what the story DLC will be about. There's a lot of things they can focus on that were introduced this game alone. Hopefully the new dungeon they introduce is a Hyrule Castle type of dungeon and not the Divine Beast kind.

"No handholding" my pants!

I just got done with Fireblight Ganon in death mountain. After about 5 minutes of running around not knowing what to do, Daruk's Ghost straight-up told me what to do! I would have liked to have figured it out myself, thanks!

About 15 hours in and half way through the story (or so I believe) and my only real gripe with the game is that the side quests have zero substance. I've collected a backlog of about 10 side quests and they're all fetch quests. Sure there's some thought to them about where to search for [insert carrot at end of stick] but they really don't tell a story. Granted I just recently finished The Witcher 3 which had the best side quests in any game but they could have made them better than "bring me 10 ore".

Other than that, I'm enjoying every second of the game.

@Nicolai Did he? What did he say?

Edit: Oh, and I agree. The side quests in this game are pretty bland overall. The rewards tend to suck also.
