Played through turtles 1 on NES and boy, I have no clue how people can beat it without save States. It makes zelda 2 seem like a cake walk. I'll never get back other than screwing around with it. It's funny how I thought the game was good as a kid, if not a little too hard.
with the save state feature me and older fans that played the old NES Turtle game will probably have a soewhat easier time to play the game instead of having to start all over with our old copies of the NES turtles game.
also whats the difference between the original Turtles II Arcade and the NES Turtles II game anyway besides the graphics?
@XandertheWise Turtles II Arcade is a sequel to the first arcade game. In that one the Turtles go back in time. Turtles II on the NES is a port of the first Arcade game. They are two different games.
So the first game I played was the SNES version of Tournament Fighters. Still a great game after all these years, it's definitely one of the better Street Fighter II clones that came out during that time. My son and I went a few rounds which was alot of fun to be honest I forgot most of the moves for most of the characters but what did I expect.
After that we did a play through of Turtles in Time the Arcade version and wow this game is not as good as I remember it. I don't know if the SNES version spoiled me or what but the arcade version is just mediocre if that. The voice overs were bad as well. The SNES version is definitely the definitive version.
As the extras go this game is packed with them I especially loved the strategy guide section with all the tips and such. Really pleased with my purchase and will be picking up a copy of this for the Switch.

Play whatever game first or whatever. or jump into the bonus features like the artwork etc.
Me, Ill probably start playing NES Turtles for old times sake then play NES Turtles II Arcade because i had fun playing that when renting it a couple of times back then
@XandertheWise Look again what you said. The SECOND Turtles Arcade game is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtela Turtles in Time, while the second NES Turtles game is a port of the first arcade game. They are different games. Yes there are similarities such as they are a beat em up, but levels are different, even the story is different.
The second arcade game was never ported to the NES, it was ported to the SNES as Turtles IV: Turtles in Time.
I suggest you drop.the attitude next time. I just answered what you asked.

@Zuljaras I agree, I can spend hours looking at all the extras. It's a bitter pill to swallow for me though because alot of that stuff like the Manhattan Project box, and book, the SNES Tournament Fighter Box and book I lost last year in a fire.
I got really excited though when I saw tv shows I thought for a moment they had the actually TV shows as extras!!! Still though cool to see the stills. This is a game I recommend for any TMNT fan just for the extras alone.

I know for a fact that I will probably play NES Ninja Turtles 1 first then might as well get into the Gameboy Turtles games since I missed out on those Gameboy games.
Tournament Fighters i always wanted to play one time back then but other people back then kept renting the only copy of the game from the video store
@XandertheWise First of all say what you mean and mean what you say. I am not being an ass, I am answering your question. You asked about the Turtles II Arcade game that is Turtles in Time, Turtles II on the NES is a port of the Arcade. If you are getting upset and insulting people because they answer your question, I suggest maybe not posting in forums.

@Tasuki Yeah, I tried. They are going to have to figure it out for themselves. It is a pretty simple answer. Life's too short for all this hostility.
Yep, I don't known what anymore they want, they ask a question and I guess it's not the one they are looking for or wanting. Then why ask the question in the first place?
