Cause for celebration, for sure! 🎉
My copy of Dezatopia delivered last week (Drainus I bought from Japan in late 2022 and received in April 2023).
Just curious, did they give an apology and a 10euro discount coupon to you, too? I thought that was a nice gesture.

I post this here a little later but I am little disappointed by one of the hand drawn maps in the Castlevania Dominus Collection. Particularly the Dawn of Sorrow map. As you can see the name of the "Condemned Tower" area is missing from the map. This is the only missing name tag.
I know that this might look idiotic to many of you but after all this collection has a 250$ price tag And those hand drawn maps by Jeremy Parish are EXCLUSIVE items for that expensive collection.
@Magician
I’m tempted to use my coupon for R-Type III Dimensions, but I’m still gunshy about preordering any Collectors Edition items through them. (Although they did follow through just fine on my Iron Meat steelbook earlier this year.).
I may just hang on to the coupon for an in-stock item later on.

Thank goodness Switch 2 game cards are no longer limited to 64GB! Nintendo and publishers must've seen that Game Key releases flat out do not sell, and urgently needed to make actual, bonafide physicals for smaller releases viable.
This won't address games larger than 64GB for the time being, though. Final Fantasy VII remake is bigger than 64GB and Game-Key releases remains its only "physical" format for the time being, unless 128GB carts become available or viable (likely be too expensive to justify outside of on-demand orders).

Per NL's updated article about the matter, when ININ announced that Christmas was saved and R-Type Dimensions III was going to be full physical (with a 10 euro price increase), they also said that those who had preordered already would not be subject to the price increase. That seems like a classy move and a nice way to reward the R-Type faithful like yourself.

@Teksette - In all fairness, Nintendo is defensive for a good reason. It's similar to how Coca-Cola reacts to their strategies and their formulas.
It's because that experience is so uniquely tied to them, it is their absolute money makers. It seems harsh from our side, but the alternative is Sonic's lecagy decline.
Sure, SEGA is more "community friendly" with the IP, but it's also why Sonic struggles to sell in a consistent way.
@Magician It seems that way. I hope they manage to keep us physical gamers for couple more years. After that the only way will be GOG. I refuse to buy digital games on consoles
@Magician - I think it's all blowback from the wait times they struggled with since his position change. I fear LRG may go the way of the key card media if with this.
Super Rare seems to be the last bastion if this is true. And the scalpers will feast.
Yes, Hollow Knight: Silksong will get a physical release for the Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) in early 2026, after its digital launch in late 2025, with Nintendo platforms getting them first. Physical copies for the Switch are expected to have the full game on the cartridge, catering to collectors, with potential publishers like Fangamer or LRG handling distribution and possibly collector's editions later on.
