Man Can't please everyone, Well I never played a persona game, so Joker is a wasted slot, Played 5 min of Tekken, Worst fighter, I also can't Stand JRPG's so half of the fighter are all crap.

....Just woke up, missed watching this live. Anyways, yeah...whatever. At least it's not another fighting game character, and...yeah I guess he still technically counts as a swordfighter but at least I know him and like most of the games he's from.

Fantastic reveal trailer for Sora.

Before the Keyblade appeared I thought playable Master Hand, a Dark Souls rep, or Alphen (from the recently released Tales of Arise) at various points in the trailer. Stoked for Sora though.

I’m just happy he actually got in, thought it would never happen. My friend and so many others get their dream pick, I get a cool new character and shortstack Doomguy. I think this is the best case scenario for the final fighter. Any other character wouldn't have felt right

...Now I'm just curious on what future Smash games will be like...if that ever happens anyways. I feel like it will...

My bet is on a reboot with a smaller roster but new move sets and game mechanics. I’d love to see some of the older cast get some new moves that better represent their series nowadays

@1ofUs Why the sudden change in heart?

I dunno, I feel like it should still remain similar but just add mechanics instead of changing everything. Would be nice for some of the echoes or "clones" get a fresh new moveset, though.

Also...I wonder...if Bandai-Namco continues to work on it...and Sakurai steps away from the next game, I wonder if they'll change the "rules" on what kind of characters that can be added. lol

My only worry about Bandai-Namco continuing to be an integral part of development is their spotty track record with online... which doesn't affect me personally, but oh boy do people complain about Ultimate's online.

Yeah I never bothered with online...also, I remembered having some lag when playing LOCALLY with two Switches...like...wtf? lol

Maybe we did something wrong and ended up using online still, but...I'm pretty certain we chose local play...

I found it funny how they jumped around and avoided having anything even vaguely Disney-related. Besides the mickey keychain.

Yeah...I was hoping for some Disney battle themes...but at this point...I don't care much about music...

@Eel I noticed that to, but I never thought I would see Disney smacked on the bottom, we might not have smash for the time being, but we have nick all star brawl to sorta fill the void.

I didn't think it was impossible, but I'm still incredibly surprised Sora actually made it in. I knew they were gonna avoid actual Disney references but even still, I really doubted it until I saw it. Though that being said, I'm sure its an "original" song from the games technically but that was totally When You Wish Upon a Star (particularly the version used for the Disney intro) with some notes changed.

I'm not a fan of Kingdom Hearts, likely never will be, but that's still really cool to see it actually happen.

@YusseiWarrior3000 Well they said the last dlc fighter, so I think that can still happen, (An echo fighters pass would have been amazing tho)
