Topic: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

I...just want Rayman. I'd be fine with Eggman too, but Rayman makes since if you have played Origins and Legends.

Most of the fighters in the passes have been kinda "meh" for me, so...I just know I'll be disappointed with this last one (at least Steve's trailer had a funny scene). Also going to guess it's another fighting game character...I dunno...Mortal Kombat.

The timing of the Smash news in the Direct makes me think maybe it's a Kirby character like Bandana Waddle Dee. In the past the "before we show you this, here's something else" type announcements have been connected like how at E3 2021 it was mentioned they're still working hard on Metroid Prime 4 before announcing Metroid Dread.

The Smash news came just before the reveal of Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Eh, I feel like it HAS to be a 3rd party character...it's the final character...it has to be big. No idea if Rayman counts as a big enough deal for that, but...

It was like with Wii U/3DS, the final character being Bayonetta. Something like that.

TBH I think I would be pissed if it was a kirby character, I mean come on, I would have wanted a kirby character over min min.

@Joeynator3000 While Bayonetta was announced last, Corrin was both revealed in the same presentation and released the same day as Bayonetta.

Whatever happens....PLEASE don't be another freakin' Pokemon! Or Fire Emblem! Or Mario character...(I'll take Paper Mario but that's it, lol)

It's crazy yall, the last character for Smash Bros, in one week. I like the games but I'm not a KH mega fan but last night I had a dream it was Sora. For me, I would want the final Smasher to be something that kind of envelopes the series as a whole. Master Hand? How about Master Man? As in the whole entity of which master and crazy hand belong to.

Or... like a Fighting Polygon that morphs into different characters when attacking. Lol.

Whoever it is, I am hyped and will continue to love Smash!

@tekoii I feel as if tetris needs one, I mean they were a big part in nintendos history, and its kinda messed up to see them pick over others, like min min!

I'd rather have Tetris as a stage...or an assist trophy. >.<

@Joeynator3000 At least one of the two, but nope, there nothing, So at least make them a character.

@Snatcher @Joeynator3000 If a tetrinomino is our last character that would be kinda cool ...that fits the whole oddball character choice. Also, yea Tetris is the biggest puzzle game in the world.. and has a grand legacy totally "deserving" to be in Smash. I think a stage would prolly be avid representation... and makes a ton of sense..

Also I would think eggman would be a great pick but I think its a little late for that, idk if people would be happy, now waluigi, would make alot of people happy, and I think a pretty great way to end of the pass, I might get mad if its a MK Character, I mean we already have like 4 of characters like that, I don't need a 5th.

@Snatcher It's a fitting idea! Yea, I feel like Eggman is a bit late and would be a strange choice for the last Smash character. I can't wait, and damn Dread is also right around the corner. Idk, I think a MK character would have been cool for Smash, but as the last char, it doesn't feel right somehow.

@tekoii A MK doesn't feel right bc we have a bunch of them already, I really don't want another.

@tekoii There not to easy to play as well, so its just not well you know, I just don't want to many of them.

I have a feeling that, knowing Sakurai, this final character is going to be really off-the-wall and not one of the many characters that people have been speculating since the fighter passes were announced but rather something..unexpected and differentiated from all the other characters. It seems to me that it would be kinda anti-climactic if it was a character that was anticipated or talked about for months.
