Speaking of Sephiroth releasing today,
Since Sephiroth has been announced and releasing (today), this means that my Square Enix theory regarding Smash DLC fighters has been proven correct.
I don't believe I've posted it on Nintendo Life, so I will share my theory:
My theory was that Square Enix was going was to get another representative in Fighter Pass 2, whether it was Geno, Sephiroth, or another Square Enix rep. I say this because Square Enix is the only company that has gotten a Smash DLC fighter in every round of DLC, whether that was in Smash Wii U's DLC fighters or in Fighter Pass 1. So, I figured that the pattern would continue with Fighter Pass 2.

It's a mii fighter costume. You have to:
1. Go to "Games and More"
2. Go to "Mii Fighter"
3. Select "Gunner"
4. For hat, select "Barrett Hat"
5. For Outfit, select "Barrett Outfit"
6. Name your Mii "Barrett"
7. On the character select screen, select "Mii Gunner"
8. Select Barrett.
9. Enjoy your mii Fighter!
@Northwind Well, is compreensible but I yet think we can see a monster hunter character. Even the customization thing letting the chances a little lower than others.
@Northwind interesting piece of story, thanks for sharing! It would answer many questions for me, so it's plausible imo. Guess we'll never learn for certain

I mean, it would explain why Byleth has a weapon that isn't a sword (Outside of the fact that basically every FE character in Smash has swords). Also, why do you think it's fake? I think that it's real, and would explain a couple of things. 🤔
