Topic: Super Mario Maker 2 Level Sharing

@Hapless I hope Super Mario Maker 3 has multiple types of on/offs or timer ones to allow more flexibility.

@OctolingKing13 No, my levels are terrible so I don't release them 😆 I mostly just enjoy playing other people's levels.

@wollywoo Cute levels. I like how you didn't mention your third evil level. The end of the greedy level is clever but mildly infuriating. After that, I was almost out of time when I saw all the boom booms and had to run right through them 😆

Haha thanks, glad you liked them! I had forgotten about that third one but when I went to replay it I could barely make any progress xD So I skipped the code for that. And yeah playing the end of Don't Get Greedy again I agree that part was too frustrating and I should have made it like 10-20 blocks shorter.
It's always weird playing old level you made and failing. I'm like, who thought this was a good idea?!

Fun level. That first jump is brutal though. Because of the spring at the end I half expected there to be hidden spikes in the goal 😆

@Hapless, Plumber's Run was a fair challenge, I barely managed to beat it on my first try and liked it since I enjoyed it quite a bit. Plumber's Abyss, on the other hand... I couldn't get past the first jump with the tiny hole and gave up that one 🤣.

@OctolingKing13, I played through all of your levels, but the only one I managed to beat was the Desert King's Realm one. The other two I got pretty far in though.

On a side note, my next level should be out this weekend according to my upload schedule!

The rest of the level isn't all that hard, but that first jump got me for a while too. Basically you have to sprint over there and then drop the run button, lose all momentum and casually tap into the hole. Feels like it shouldn't be too hard but even after I did it, I wasn't consistent.

Hello! I'm new around here, and quite surprised to see an active SMM level sharing topic. I'm not good about playbacks (I'm more of maker than a player), but it looks to me like there are a number of level seekers around here, so here's my profile ID if anyone wants - 0DV-9NP-WXG. Currently has 92 levels spanning three projects! They're all traditional levels with a focus on themes and progression, they don't get crazy hard or anything.

The 40-level Super World is a little rougher around the edges than the two later projects (12-level SMB1 miniseries and 40-level SMW series), but everything should be quite good. Everything's intended to be played oldest-upload first. I'll spare you guys a further ramble lol, but I'll be happy to elaborate on anything should anyone ask!

@Hapless i played your two most recent levels, fun stuff! Plumbers Run was really fun to speedrun (world record!!!!) and was so fun. however i couldnt get past that first area in plumbers abyss. ten minutes in i still couldnt. good design and aesthetic though!

Thanks for playing (and for the warm welcome)! My focus on flow and progression mean that my levels are good for speedrunning, so the WRs tend to be pretty competitive - don't be surprised if you see any really tight records! You could also try going for my clear check times, which are also optimized - sometimes even more than the WR, but most of them have been beaten I think.

Haha, I dunno about "famous", but my levels have definitely done better than I ever could have imagined that they would!

This level from a buddy of mine should satisfy that want perfectly, lol - R96-8TC-CRG

I recommend all of his levels overall! He's kind of a wizard with this game's engine.

Others have snagged almost all the world records I've gotten on these various shared levels, but I have it for Plumber's run at least temporarily 😝

But your levels have a ton of plays! I would think you would ignore the notifications. 🤔 Or has it slowed to a trickle now that smm2 is more than 6 years old?
