Topic: Super Mario Maker 2 Level Sharing

@SlamDunk22, is there a hidden power-up I can use after that checkpoint? Whenever I go through the pipe at the door, I die because of the spikes 🤣, so I'm confused about what to do next. I'll leave it paused for now to keep my checkpoint, since I have no other gaming plans for today (I played for several hours yesterday, which I hardly ever do, to binge through most of the Riju of Gerudo Town questline in Totk 😂, I intended on not playing anything today to focus entirely on my school... until I saw the ID for this level on this thread, since checking NL is one of the first things I do when I wake up).

@ShieldHero well, you are supposed to have your propeller suit still and lose it completely in the spikes but there is a hidden block in the propeller room

@SlamDunk22, thanks for the tip, I managed to beat this one then liked it! That first locked door was kind of hard to reach from the clown car with it only being on one block of ground though 😨. Now if you'll excuse me, I changed my mind, I'm going to play some more Totk today after all 🤣.

I like how you can just see which one has the pipe in the first room 😆 The blind spike fall is a bit evil though.

@Hapless played some of yours, they arent rubbish! they actually have really fun gameplay and decent design! deffo a challenge!

@Hapless Cute first 4 levels. Frostbite was adorable. That crazy spring shell contraption in Mario Underground was rediculous 😆

I gave up on Plumbers die twice... the first tunnel is easy with momentum and then there is an awkward diagonal down gap which isn't too bad and then.... there is a really long tunnel nearish the end starting in a place where you can't get momentum — how do you actually get through that with no power up??

@Hapless, played and liked some of your levels: I managed to beat Mario Country and Frostbite (really liked the part in Mario Country with the drop that had alternate platforms, I should do that for one of my levels), but couldn't get past the Koopa and spring contraption in Mario underground.

On a side note... my next level should be out sometime this weekend!

@ShieldHero The trick with the spring contraption is just to pick up the shell, jump back up, throw it down into the spring area and then stand there and wait a really long time 😆 The spring will clear the path and then leave. It's like an auto level but for the shell instead of Mario 😆 It's rediculous but kind of impressive.

I usually upload my levels on Saturday, but since I will be busy all day tomorrow at an amusement park with friends, I decided to upload tomorrow's course a day early (yes, I do have a schedule on when to upload my courses). It's another standard level, the first course of my Super World that I'm going to be starting development on very soon. All the levels of my Super World will have an optional "collect 5 pink coins to unlock the bonus room", or some sort of challenge like that, and my Super World should be uploaded sometime this fall. @Hapless, what am I supposed to do after I take out the Rocky Wrenches? The last time I just jumped forward, I fell to my death. I also don't like feel like failing to reach this part another 50+ times again, so I'm leaving it paused.

@Hapless, thanks for the tip, I managed to beat it then liked it! By the way, the course currently has a 1.28% clear rate right now (that would be because of me).

@ShieldHero Cute level; fun to speed run. Someone else got a really good time. I also replayed it slower and got the red coins and big coins and 1-ups and red yoshi; it was a fun little exploration. I like your pipe coloring method to make it less confusing.

Also very cute level. Where did your evil level go? There was one blind jump but it worked when I did it so it's not too bad. I like the bullet setup where jumping on them gives you height to kill or avoid the hammer bros. I am also very thankful the snake ride was short rather than the 10 hour journeys many creators make them 😆 I assume the clear rate will be more like 20% once enough people play it.

Just saw this, that's crazy. I haven't seen this type of thing too much on mario maker and usually on famous people's accounts. I reported the account. It's probably an 11 year old, but bizarre they are targeting you in particular.

Never trust a Peter Griffin account on Mario Maker; there was some YouTube and social media mario making community memeing about it at one point

What was the box for at the start?? I feel like I was missing a secret but I dropped the box when I became a goomba

Also, you made the spike level so much easier I didn't actually need the power up 😆 I'm still impressed you beat the first version of it.

@Hapless Just depends what you are going for. The first version was pretty evil. This version is pretty chill. That first tunnel in the first version certainly took some tries to line up but it wasn't so bad... the evilness came from the fact that you had a much harder version of the same trick 2/3rds of the way into the level 😆 If your original goal was a precision spike maze that is borderline super expert but fair, I agree that is a hard balance to make.

You are 900 times better at level creation than I am!

Not sure if this last version was what you were originally going for, but it was super fun. I love the traps like getting stuck in the box with the Koopa 😆 And this was the first version where the bullets were a true hindrance and the power ups helped without making it too easy.

Your other new level was fun too. I'm wracking up first clears on your levels 😃

@Hapless played i see SOMEONE took an idea from somebody else…/jk. great new level, deffo challenging, took me a while. love the pit of goombas. also played through some of your other newer ones. kitty adventure is so so GOOD, so were the others, although i rage quit in skyward mario 😔 fishyS is right youre a genius at level design honestly!
@ShieldHero this is such a good new course! i soent a bunch of time getting all the coins and the secrets. love the design, although red yoshi jumpscared me.
