It looks like I need a stand for my Switch. I donβt have a tv in my room and other people are watching the main tv so I rarely get a chance to play on it.
Any recommendations for a stand that will elevate the Switch up enough to allow me to plug in a USB device?
Hi guys. I actually went for the Hori play stand and also the Hori wired controller. When looking at the play stand the wires controller was suggested to me by Amazon so it was an spur of the moment buy. Thanks for the suggestions regardless. I will most likely be using the stand to play SF exclusively.

I don't own either of those personally and I don't necessarily think it is a case of them being 'wrong'.
I was just asking as from my own experience with my HORI Arcade Stick - which is wired USB - and the two Switch stands I have previously bought. I ran into a similar scenario whereby the only means of connecting to the Switch in undocked table-Top mode would be via a USB-to-USB-C adapter. Which, and I promise to everyone here, I'll not bring this up again after this, so far I have chosen NOT to do having heard all the news about USB-C cables attached to Switch system posing a potential bricking issue.
Anyway, I was just checking to see if you were aware you might potentially face the same problem. E.g. How do you connect your wired controller to the Switch in Table-Top mode.
@wasilewski Might also be worth seeing if anyone can vouch for the D-Pad on the wired HORI controller, if you are specifically buying this controller for STREET FIGHTER, or do you play with the analogue sticks?
I just use my wireless pro controller, it's fine, but it would be neat to have a Dpad like that. Seeing that you got that playstand, might be worth it to look for a powerbank so you can play outside a bit longer.
Hows the connection for most people, when I play with @SheldonRandoms we basically got perfect connection....but a lot of other matchs seem messy...if anyone wants to play with o'l undead let mii know, I got good wired connection
I havenβt had a chance to game much this week but I used the 8 bit do SNES joystick over the weekend and it seemed to work well. I played through a few entire arcade games vs the cpu just fine.
I have no noticed any sound issues this far either.
@Lroy, you need a mini USB blue tooth adapter to use the 8 bit do joysticks on the mini SNES or NES. They donβt come with blue tooth built in so you canβt sync any joysticks without those. On the Switch, theyβll sync via the Bluetooth. One model of the 8 bit do joysticks comes with it, the other doesnβt.
