I've been drowning in farming but I did pick up Dig 2 and WOW the artstyle really pops on the switch. I will say I'm getting the dual screen pangs but of course I understand why Nintendo went single screen but it truly is the end of an era. Anyway for what little bit of Dig 2 I did play I know this will be my next time sink. Plus I have to find out what happened to Rusty.

Finished Dig 2 last night - well, apart from the final trials (which are hard!). Fantastic - this is definitely my favourite eShop game, and probably my second favourite Switch game overall, just behind Zelda and ahead of Splatoon 2 and Shovel Knight.
Would love to see a Dig 1 rerelease on Switch. Less bothered about Heist, as I've played through that on iOS. Heist 2 on the other hand...
Quite a way through. Onto the part where you find the various doomsday devices.
Good game although not that big an improvement on the first game really. Feels like they've kinda hit a barrier with how much they can do with this formula.
Loving the game but the Leaky Lodge cave is seriously bothering me i've been through it 7 or more times i've got both cogs and the artifact yet it's still not checked off
Steamworld dig 2 is great. Lovely gameplay, controls, graphics and music. You soon get to the endboss though, but its a fun and tricky boss. After that there was still tons of stuff, I got only 45% item completion. I will do that soon. In the meantime I finally decided to finish the first Steamworld dig. There I got every upgrade and almost every piece of ore. One piece of ore had become unobtainable for me. The endboss was fun, but pretty easy. Overall I think Steamworld dig was ok, but Steamworld dig 2 is where the concept really shines. It also helps a lot that Steamworld dig 2 isn't random generated! Oh, and Steamworld dig 2 has much better dialogue (better translation perhaps?).
As for the other titles, I downloaded Steamworld tower defence yesterday. And Heist is sleeping a while on my Wii u now. When I first tried it I couldn't really get into it, but I'll try again soon.
I wonder what's next for the series. Maybe run and gun? Maybe Zelda-like? We'll see!
