Anyways, just woke up...gonna eat and watch some youtube for a bit. Then make an attempt to deal with the final arena challenge. Which isn't even the true final challenge since I'm doing this on easy mode, lol.
...and of course I'm gonna record it. xD
Wish me luck. >.>
I know how many total Waddle Dees there are, but that didn't answer my question. I'm simply asking whether the requirement for unlocking the boss gates is the number for each individual world or the total number collected overall

I was confused about the Waddle Dee requirements for the bosses as well, they're way lower than they need to be. Even if you skip all of hidden ones, just by reaching the goal in each level you're getting 12 more Waddle Dees per world, but the boss requirements only go up by about 3. If they want to keep it low to make it accessible to less skilled players, it doesn't need to be anywhere near that low.
@NinChocolate After you beat the main story there's a post game quest similar to Extra Mode from past games. I'm 1/3 of the way through this mode, and it's pretty tough, although it's mainly the bosses that are tougher. I had trouble with the hard mode version of Tropic Woods, never thought I'd see the day where even freaking Whispy Woods would be threatening.
Yeah when it comes to 100% the extra world is easy (well, everything's tougher but you know what I meant, lol), just collecting stuff. Elfilin (however you spell it, lol) does tell you when you've collected everything in that area, too. So yeah, no missions or time trial stuff there.
Kinda forgot about the timed stuff in the treasure areas...do those count? Ugh...

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@NinChocolate It shows "First Played X Days Ago" until you hit 10 days, then shows the number of hours after that, or at least that's been my experience with other games.
I don't get why Nintendo marks the Awoofy's as new characters (sort of). I mean, weren't they also in Kirby and the amazing mirror? Didn't those creatures give you the beast power-up, so you could burrow underground with claws (no, I don't mean the drill power-up from the new game that you get from moles).
...I finally did it...The Ultimate Cup Z, DONE. Well, on easy mode anyways...I feel like I can do it on hard mode but...I'm going to give this game a break for now. That final battle, I think I had one hit left in me but I still managed at the last moment. My main problem was that, FOR SOME REASON, whenever I lost my ability, I would suck it back up and then SPIT THE DAMN THING BACK OUT! >.< Always right at the last boss, too. lol

@Henmii Uhhh, what? Are you talking about the Animal copy ability? That was Squeak Squad, not Amazing Mirror. And no, that isn't an Awoofy, that's a different type of enemy called a Gaw Gaw.
I have been playing on and off since Friday and it's a really enjoyable game! As many people said it is not a hard game, but it's really fun and that's what matters. Also the 30fps don't matter as much as I thought. 30fps games on Playstation look kinda sluggish, but this one runs pretty good.
Took my time with the game early as I was playing other things but got really stuck into it the last couple of days and finished it off to 100% completion (which I don't usually bother doing). That was fun.
