I don't want to bring drama in here, but I am wondering if any of you guys have an opinion on the youtuber Fryethusiast? I watched one of his vids way back when about cut content in S3, but since then I haven't clicked on any of his vids because they all seem to be clickbait or overly derogatory of other content creators (for example, his two newest videos are about MahiMegan being sexist and Gem being in court, but not in a way that invites discussion. They just seem to be for clicks and to dunk on other people). Am I the only one thinking this?
Unfortunately, I may not play this Splatfest, as I seem to have lost my, uh, mojo since the unfortunate events two weeks ago, however I am happy to report that the move went well!
EDIT: I just realized y’all have no context.
To make a long story short, I found out on the 20th of January that we were actually moving on the 30th. It was stressful, but it went off alright, and my family and I are slowly getting settled.
As for the “unfortunate events”, two and a half weeks ago, I was kicked off of my team by the very individual I brought in two months earlier to save it from disbanding (Ari, the captain), with the justification being some unfortunately dysregulated emotional responses to stressful situations within the team, which, while not great, are completely understandable in the context of how quickly everything has happened with the move, according to my friends who are in competitive, as well as my mental health professionals.
It’s been a very weird time. Happy Splatfest regardless!
I think White Chocolate is going to win everything again like last time. Not played much against Dark Chocolate but lost a lot against White Chocolate.
Little bit late, but fantastic splatfest results! Another beautiful big man sweep baby! But they seriously need to fix tricolor. Half my tricolor battles were all team white chocolate. Like, what the heck Nintendo?
Should we just accept the fact that Big Man will win every remaining Splatfest in Splatoon 3?
It just feels like ever since Grand Festival ended we have come to a point where the Splatfest results are already predictable from the moment Nintendo announces a Splatfest, and we’re always right in the end.
@Dev-N And Frye won the least Splatfests. What makes it worse is that in most of these, especially with Big Man winning, she gets close to nothing during the results. Frye deserves better.
We need a united front against Big man! Instead of boycotting Big Man we should all move to one team and essentially have a 2v1 with a lot of mirror matches. If this worked out we could also ensure that Big Man would lose regardless of attacking or defending, we would just lock them out and force a win for Shiver or Frye. All this is ofc if we could organise a movement against Big man domination.
I have to say, I think it’s funny that at the start of S3 we thought big man would sweep and he didn’t until now. That’s just odd.
But in most mirror matches, instead of working together the two attacking teams just try to target each other. This only makes it easier for the defending team to prepare themselves for if anyone tries to take the ultra signal or kill them and prevent them from doing so, especially if it’s Big Man team.
Sadly if Big Man gets the good option and the “funny ink color” he automatically wins before it even starts. This also sends the people in his team to be tryhards to help him win any remaining Splatfests and prevent any of the other two from catching up, especially preventing Frye from making any comeback if she gets in last.
Add that with the fact people only vote for the funny ink color, and this is why Shiver and Frye may never win another Splatfest again.
Nintendo needs to give Big Man an oddball choice like Sour or Bigfoot and ordinary ink.
Either that or bring back 2-way Splatfests in Splatoon 4. In any case Nintendo wants to do 2-way Splatfests going forward after Splatoon 3, they would need to have an even number of idols to do so, even if it’s just returning to 2 idols.
@MrCarlos46 It would be interesting to have 4 idols in S4 and they rotate who’s on who’s team in two way splatfests so that there wouldn’t be as big of a bias for certain idols.
@Dev-N I was with ya... till you brought up AnniversaryFest. I am still salty that Frye lost. (And I have good reasoning for that, too, if anyone is interested)🙃

I have been suggesting that for months... Glad it is catching on!! ☺️☺️
If everyone voted Frye and got her some wins finally I would be overjoyed.
@CaleBoi25 yes, I have been watching those! Tbh I was waiting for you (or anyone else) to reply to my last "update" message, since y'all have kinda been keeping up with me. Hope you're well!
