I did recently run into a person like that recently under one of the Splatoon 3 articles and, despite me LITERALLY HAVING AN INKLING as my PFP, I was ripped apart regardless. I talked about it in a post earlier on but I suppose it's nice to be ripped into like this every once in a while since it really does make you feel like you belong, you know? That's probably just me reading way too into things though.

So what did people think of splatoon 3 , is it any better than 2, I do play 2 but have not tried 3 yet. Is 3 better by a mile.

@Ninfan I think the demo was too limited to make a full judgement. I think 3 is possibly an elevated version of 2, or more great new content. The demo had very few weapon kit optons. Zipcaster was only available with an octo brush, and i don't like the brush. So i didn't get to really try, or learn, the new weapons, sub weapons, special weapons much.

@Ninfan My honest opinion? Trying to go back to 2 after getting a taste of 3 is like trying to fit squares into circles: it just feels wrong.

There's also a training room for Salmon Run, it seems, to practice egg throwing.

I just pre ordered the game. At the major retailers and Amazon the game is only 43€ here in Germany. That's insanly cheap for a brand new 1st party Nintendo game. The cheapest I ever bought a new Nintendo game for was around 55€.
At my retailer I get additionally a discount for it so it's only 40€. That's the price for Switch Sports digitally. 😅
I wonder if the retailer is losing money on that game with that price tag.

I have heard that apparently someone has managed to get the game early and is posting spoilers online. I think that they were posting it on twitter, but it has probably spread elsewhere. I thought that I should warn you all. I haven't came across it myself, but I have been quite careful to avoid leaks etc.

I don't know what can be spoiled for me. I think.
There is a weapon variant that didn't got revraled officially that I know of. So that's that. Singleplayer wise I don't care to be honest.

@GX_64 Thanks for the heads up! The only thing I'm wary of in regards to spoilers is story mode myself but I'm more than grand with taking the precautions necessary to avoid everything else as well

The only 'leak' I've heard about so far was a datamine of the Splatfest Demo that seemed to confirm The Reef coming back as a future map. Not the first one that would've come to mind to pick from 2 (Snapper Canal and Skipper Pavilion please and thank you) but still a pretty inoffensive map all things considered.

Avoid Inkipedia if you do not want to see story spoilers. There have been a multiple edits in the last few hours with spoilers from people getting the game early

To fill the time waiting for Splatoon 3, I made a new Switch user just so I could take a run through Splatoon 2's game's opening and beginner tutorial (since we only get to see that once). There's something appealing about the opening game tutorial. And I started a new run in the single player campaign. I totally forgot how weak the default gun (hero splattershot) is when you start a new single player game. I played through the 7-8 levels to upgrade it's firing rate.

Oh sweet jesus the story mode spoilers are out in full force on Youtube, stay safe everyone!

@Fizza Yeah, there are SO many youtubes with Splatoon 3 gameplay thumbnails & titles that lean toward possible spoilers. It's nuts. I saw that. I've been doing everything to not look at them or read the titles.

@Fizza I was gonna tell everyone that too. I’ll just say that this games story mode looks way better than the last two

@WoomyNNYes @Blooper987 Strange thing is, even though I may have seen the potential 'final boss' (I didn't wait around long enough to verify), I'm not actually all too mad about it since, by the time the game comes out, I'll basically have completely forgotten about it. Usually what it takes for me to completely forget about a spoiler is.....another spoiler to be honest XD

Literally putting images of the spoilers when you have (SPOILER!!!) in the title is so f***** dumb though like why even bother at that point.

I think the final boss is a great idea, inkling with ink vs Mario with FLUDD washing away your ink makes so much sense, just look at how cool the battle is!
