So, I've always noticed, in Splatoon turf war (for Splatoon 2 & 3) and in Rocket League, there's a predictable influx of experienced players that will crush you around 5pm-8pm.

Forgive my predictable complaint.... Why the heck doesn't that same pattern apply to Salmon Run? Failing quotas on wave one at pro 3, and even after I've been knocked down to Pro 2, still getting teams spammed with newbs. Nobody is painting walls & ground, they don't know how to to use the Dynamo. I lost my patience and just demoted myself to Pro 40 since that's what Nintendo seems to want me to do, because I was that ______-ing desperate to complete three waves and get a king salmonid encounter.

(if anyone has noticed I haven't been playing as much, I've been playing Forza Horizion with my brother. If Series X drops to $400 USD again, I may have to buy it. I feel guilty af having two current gen consoles, but I might have to do it, while it's winter & too cold to ride bikes.)

Ok, I finally headed back to the game and picked Family as my Splatfest team of choice. Went ahead and got the FrostyFest gear from the news as well.

I picked Family too. I just realized Family ink is yellow. I love yellow splatfest ink because it looks like something else, and it amuses me.😁

Side note: If anyone can't participate in Splatfest, you can still get a few super sea snails just for picking a team. Booyah!

@WoomyNNYes Oh come on, I was having fun playing Super Mario RPG. Plus I was trying to decide between Family and Solo. I picked Family because that's how I celebrate Christmas, plus I'm pretty sure another friend of mine would pick Family, too. I wanna get as much sea snails as possible actually, so once again, I'll be shooting for the Ruler title.

Speaking of Team Family. I recently saw a Splatfest post on the plaza with a poorly drawn pic of the 13th Doctor (Who) and "I love my fam" written. Don't know why, but I think that's kind of hilarious. 😂😂
